I've never had a 40" Samsung TV. Only issue I've been having the brightness won't stay where it's at. It's great during the day but around 7 pm in the evening it's auto changes. It goes right back where it was when you fix it.

the tv itself is really nice and the picture is awesome. however, it is not possible to download the hulu app on this tv, so you'll still need to plug another device into the tv to use one of the most popular streaming services.

Great picture, however could use a better sound system. We added a sound bar but some channels have a low volume. Commercials are way to loud and tv should have a max volume automatic control to maintain a even sound level.

Works well, has a good picture but as most newer TV's the sound output is lacking without some sort of external speaker. I bought a second one, both are used in bedrooms and for that they are fine and I am completely satisfied

We received the television with 1 day delivery which was great. However, the screen was cracked in several places which wasn't great. Returned to store for refund.

this TV does not have a fluid picture. I bought a Samsung because I thought they made good products. after 6 hours use the screen went blank sound still works. ITS OVER WITH. NOT WORTH ONE STAR.

TV works better than I could hope for. Everything about it is great. Need to get a new set buy this one. There is no downside. Just ordered a 32 inch based on how well this one works. Oh, bought it a week ago. Got the 3 year service.

the only complaint i have is the remote is extremely sensitive. when i press the button to move to different apps, it whizzes past to the end. other than that i'm happy with my tv.

All great except 3 times it wouldn't come on. A red light keeps blinking and we kept pushing the on button , unplugged and plugged until it came on. we may have to return for this issue.
