Disappointed in Samsung

I bought this TV because the Samsung name and reputation as a quality product. I’m very disappointed in the narrow viewing angle, difficult setup, and poor internet connectivity. The TV keeps loosing internet connection and needs resetting. I have 4 other products that connect and stay connected. The Samsung is the only one with an issue.

A Proprietary Pain in the Neck

great picture, good sound, and an excellent purchase when it was on sale, but... the samsung software is clumsy and not at all intuitive. it connects to my windows machines easily, but not at all to any of our tablets or google phones with android operating systems. multiple attempts to connect through various samsung and google apps, as well as other 3rd party apps, have been wasted time. in a recent inquiry with samsung, it was made very clear that google and samsung products are not at all compatible at this basic level. the next time i need a television, i will shop more carefully, and will not purchase a samsung. changing my brand of television will be easier and less expensive than being forced to change all of our other equipment.

Smart tv that isn’t

Stopped connecting to internet after 4 months. Neither Verizon or Samsung could fix the issue.

Hi Mac 23, Thank you for sharing your experience with Internet connectivity. If you’re experiencing issues with the Wi-Fi connection, we suggest you try the following:1. Use 5Ghz Wi-Fi if possible2. Try wired LAN if available3. Try repositioning the router so there are no obstacles between your TV and the router4. Try running a cold boot on your TV. To do so, hold down the Power button on the Samsung TV remote until the TV turns off and then on again. This should take about 5 seconds.Please also be sure you are running the latest firmware. You can check to see what software version your TV is using and if there is an available update through the settings on your TV. Go to: Settings > Support > Software Update. You can enable automatic updates for convenience. Go to Settings > Support > Software Update, then select Auto Update.I hope these tips help resolve your concerns. Easy to use

Even better than expected.

Amazing clarity in the picture. Had already scanned for the over the air TV stations when the menu came up. Plus TV channels are a bonus. Web access for streaming TV and movies. Only had it a week and am very happy with the product.

Very Impressed so far

Bought this for my Wife's Birthday, set for our bedroom, 2nd Samsung in the house and so far very impressed with picture and sound. Set up was not totally smooth and the app is so so, but Samsung came thru again with quality

Airplay….Not happening!

Very disappointed! Picture is fine but making an airplay connection isn’t happening. If you need or want that capability you should likely stay away from Samsung. I have the same issue on my 65” Series 8!

Usually happy with Samsung products

not hulu capable — salesman said it was and that’s the reason we bought it. we quit cable and sattelite, so hulu is very important to us. i tried for a month, everything possible, to find a wayto add the app — nothing worked!
