my 10 year old tv started to fail and samsung is a respected brand that's why i bought it. to my shock samsung does not have built in chromecast. what a waste of $$$$ it's 2022, most generic tv's have every popular built in feature. come on samsung!!! get your act together!!!!

my tv set does not stay connected to the network. when i turn the tv on, i get a network error message that my tv is not connected to wifi. the instruction on screen says to either unplug the router or the tv. the first time it happened and did as instructed, but then the same thing happened. it happens each time i turn the tv back on. all other equipment connected wirelessly to the same network (another samsung tv included) stay connected without any need to unplug them or resetting the router. when i turn them on. i am so frustrated with this tv set that i am returning it back to the store.

we bought a samsung because it is known for quality. the internet/cable tv provider in sw florida is xfinity (comcast). but when we tried to download the xfinity app to stream the cable tv channels we paid for, it didn't work. xfinity told us that this model of samsung tv does not support their app! we never would have bought the tv if we knew that. so we had to go out and buy a roku box to stream tv, instead of using the tv to stream. very disappointing!!

great picture, good sound, and an excellent purchase when it was on sale, but... the samsung software is clumsy and not at all intuitive. it connects to my windows machines easily, but not at all to any of our tablets or google phones with android operating systems. multiple attempts to connect through various samsung and google apps, as well as other 3rd party apps, have been wasted time. in a recent inquiry with samsung, it was made very clear that google and samsung products are not at all compatible at this basic level. the next time i need a television, i will shop more carefully, and will not purchase a samsung. changing my brand of television will be easier and less expensive than being forced to change all of our other equipment.

We have had this TV for a month and we are more than satisfied. Great picture which adjusts for room light. The initial setup takes a few minutes but the TV does a check for stations available with an antenna while you sign on with Samsung. We are using one of those new flat plastic antennas pasted to a wall. The original TV that was in this spot was too small so we gave it away and put the new Samsung there using the same antenna. The Samsung came up with about 10 more stations than the old TV so it must be made better. You will not be sorry if you make this purchase. We are very happy.

got this tv for our backyard patio and for those purposes, it serves its purposes. however, this tv is definitely not one of samsungs better models. picture is ok but sound is teally not the best. for the price, this is an excellent tv. however, it simply does not compare to other two samsunf tvs that we own.

I bought this 40" Samsung several weeks ago and am satisfied with it - it was relatively easy to set up and works just fine. I really like the remote control that came with this model as well as the instruction/information booklet. When we did encounter a problem, we found the Samsung contact phone number on the back of the booklet and were able to speak to a real person who was very helpful.

i am getting everything from my tv but that is because i had to get inventive and add a bluetooth transmiter to the tv and a bluetooth receiver to my analog sound system because the tv dores not have an out audio for analog. other than that small overlook by the designers of it everything else is great so far.

Could someone please tell me if this TV has speakers/sound? I was unaware that some TV's don't have speakers these days, when I purchased my last Samsung Television. I definitely do not want to run into this same problem again. Thank you for your time, ahead of time, to whomever may or may not, provide me with an answer.

it breaks my heart to see so many negative reviews here, i guess people do not know what this tv has to offer. this is the first tv that i have ever had that does not need a physical hook up to work, and the phone mirroring option is wonderful! i am still learning new things with this tv. i am a trucker and this fits nicely on my bunk and i am experimenting with surround sound and it promises to be everything i expect from sam!!
