Not Fresh!

I bought this package of very thin asparagus on Thursday, 5/20/21, and promptly put it in my cold pack, then the fridge as soon as I got home. On Saturday, I pulled out the pack and the tips were mushy and gross. I cut them off, and cooked half the package, but the rest if it had completely turned on Sunday when I planned to saute the rest. If I wasn't 30 plus miles from my nearest club is return it. Quite frustrating to pay for quality produce and get such a stale item.
