Within a few days of purchase the asparagus began to get slimy. Not fresh when purchased. This is the second time this has happened. As long as Sam's continues to source their asparagus with this supplier we will not purchase again.

These Asparagus are always fresh and firm. I've kept them in the fridge for two weeks once and it didn't go bad. Pairs well with Salmon and other fish for lunch or dinner.

I like to buy things in bulk like this and can them. I am the only one in my family that eats them, so I was able to get 7 servings, pint jars of asparagus.

Check your produce before you buy. I opened mine when I got home and the heads were mushy and the stalks slimy - already gone bad before we purchased.
