Half of the croissants don’t even meet at the ends to make a complete circle; the ends should overlap each other. Since PR Sams club has increased the price to $6.98 I would think that the consumer could expect at least a better product. Also; the employees baking and packaging these half formed croissants hide the inferior croissants under the properly formed croissants. I went through 8 packages of croissants before I found a package with less than two incomplete croissants. The Hatillo Sams Club needs a manager that shows a little ambition and quits closing his eyes to shoddy workmanship.

These are the worst croissants I have ever had. I don’t think real butter is being used to make these again. I think they are using margarine or shortening something heavier and oilier. These are heavy and leave a greasy coating in the roof of my mouth and lips. And thy have an off putting flavor like grease. I just bought these a few weeks ago and they seemed fine then but this time they are awful. Plus I did the order online and drive up and with this order and these croissants were about to expire 2 days after I purchased them. Well there goes using them for sandwiches for the next week. So whoever is doing the shopping for online needs to be checking expiration dates.

In some form my family has been a Sam's Club member for 30 years and throughout the years we have purchased these Croissants and the batch I bought last week was the first time I have ever want to NOT eat them. They are now thick and bready not light with crispy layers like they use to be. Hopefully this a fluke but I won't be buying again until they 'look' like their normal selves

I bought these to make chicken salad sandwiches and they were fresh and tasty. From now on I will only get them if taking them to a family get together because they are much larger than I thought they would be. I am single so keeping them fresh would be a problem for me, and I'm not sure if they can be frozen for later use. Having said that, I would definitely recommend these to anyone shopping for several people.

I go to Sam’s Club, and they sell croissants there — a box with 12 pieces in it. I’ve been buying and eating those for about five years. But the croissants I bought before and the ones I buy now are different. I don’t know if they changed the baker or something, but real croissants are supposed to be soft and fluffy, with lots of air inside. When you tear them apart, they should be light, soft, and have a strong buttery smell. But the ones I buy these days feel dense and sticky, almost like rice cake made of flour. They’re stuck together and just don’t taste right. Something feels off about them.

best crossaints ive ever had however they changed the ingredients or cook time to where they are now WAY too dark and dry. why???? this change happened like 8 months ago and hasnt been the same since. Go back to the same cooking time/ingredients PLEASE.

These croissants are perfect for sandwiches and breakfast sandwiches. They aren't flaky and hold their shape well. I don't find they are all that great for a stand-alone croissant, but they are advertised as a "sandwich croissant" so they are perfect for that purpose. The only real downside is that they expire pretty quickly and start tasting a little stale a day before expiring. But, that is to be expected for a bakery good that isn't loaded with tons of preservatives. If you are looking for a flaky French-bakery croissant to have with some preserves and a cup of tea, this is the wrong croissant. This is definitely a sandwich croissant and has a consistency that is perfect for that purpose.

These are usually dependably good but something changed recently with the last two times I’ve gotten these at the end of November and beginning of December 2025. They’re just terrible now. I’m hesitant to keep getting them because they’re just off. Go back to how they were please.

I placed the order a day before and when I picked up the next day, the bread was ok. Seems like the bread within 3 days got hard. I love getting these croissants because both my daughter and I use them for breakfast sandwiches during the week. But they didn't last very long fresh.

Please let them all rise to the same size.You get some that are small some that are normal.
