I was so shocked to see the new lower price when the competitive club in town has raised the price. Although these are generally always top notch, I went to buy tonight and they looked so small. I'm guessing the bakers didn't let them proof long enough, hoping this is just a fluke!

These are the worst croissants I have ever had. I don't think real butter is being used to make these again. I think they are using margarine or shortening something heavier and oilier. These are heavy and leave a greasy coating in the roof of my mouth and lips. And thy have an off putting flavor like grease. I just bought these a few weeks ago and they seemed fine then but this time they are awful. Plus I did the order online and drive up and with this order and these croissants were about to expire 2 days after I purchased them. Well there goes using them for sandwiches for the next week. So whoever is doing the shopping for online needs to be checking expiration dates.

These are gross. They're very dry and have a funny aftertaste. They almost taste sour or like sourdough. Very artificial-tasting. I agree with the review that said they're more like rolls... they are. They aren't really like actual croissants, but this isn't France and these are less than $6/dozen lol so I get the appeal as far as price goes. They just don't taste good in my opinion. Weird texture too.

These croissants are perfect for sandwiches and breakfast sandwiches. They aren't flaky and hold their shape well. I don't find they are all that great for a stand-alone croissant, but they are advertised as a "sandwich croissant" so they are perfect for that purpose. The only real downside is that they expire pretty quickly and start tasting a little stale a day before expiring. But, that is to be expected for a bakery good that isn't loaded with tons of preservatives. If you are looking for a flaky French-bakery croissant to have with some preserves and a cup of tea, this is the wrong croissant. This is definitely a sandwich croissant and has a consistency that is perfect for that purpose.

Always one of my favorites, so fresh a great value and they make a meal special and fancy. I use for breakfast with butter or jams or to make delicious egg and bacon sandwiches. I also use as an alternate for bread for a lunch sandwich or bread alternate when making French toast!

I was really disappointed with my purchase of this dozen croissants. When I purchasrd them they looked a little under cooked but there were multiple containers with croissants that appeared to be way overcooked. I had never bought these croissants before but my grandson was requesting a croissant every morning for breakfast. The 12 pack from Sam's were much more affordable tham buying them 4 a time at Walmart. However the croissants were terrible. They were not cooked through and then they got moldy on just a few days. I won't be buying them again.

Not much of a bread consumer unlike my husband and family. I never could understand how they could finish it all so quickly! But let me just say, I have fallen in love with every type of dish made with these croissants, as of recently! They are light and airy and just perfect!

Sam’s croissants are delicious! They stay nice and tender for several days after opening the box. More importantly you won’t find croissants this big at Sam’s price in any other supermarket. Definitely a staple for large family gatherings and every day use. Delicious!

We have a small coffee shop and serve the large croissants for several entrees. The croissants always taste great however they vary vastly from 1 proofing to the next. That affects my bottom line. SAMS talks about being in business for small businesses, but I would definitely challenge that.

These make a good sandwich or steamed with butter and honey or jelly for breakfast. A good taste; nice texture. These same croissants sell for a dollar less for only 4 croissants at Walmart, so if you only manage to eat 6 of the twelve, you still come out ahead moneywise. They do have a short shelf life so check the dates. Tonight we are having ham and swiss sandwiches :)
