Dixie did have the most durable plates on the market but... my most recent purchase I noticed something different even while in the package of 44 plates. When I compared to the previous purchase, it was way obvious that the quality was cut in half. The edges flex/bend/curl however you want to say it much more than my previous purchase. Has anyone else noticed that they went down a notch in quality? Strength goes from Excellent to good in my view.

These are a little more expensive than the cheap white ones that get soggy & rip while you are trying to eat off them. You can even eat a steak off these one & they are still good at the end of the meal. I'll never buy anything but these, whether it is the dinner plate ir the dessert plate or the bowls! They are fabulous!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I always use Dixie plates because of their strength and durability no matter what I serve. Being a grandmother of 7 and camping veteran I have tried every brand out there and since buying Dixie ultra I will never buy anything else.

I bought Dixie plates a while and then we tried buying them around us and could not be found!! We searched numerous stores and them at one local store. Now we keep them on hand because we had to use another brand but they did not cut the mustard so to speak!!! No we use Dixie and only Dixie plates, cups and small dessert plates!!!

There are six people in my household. All on different schedules. I prepare meals to be reheated as each person has time to eat their meal. Dixie paper plates make this possible because they make microwaving and eating food simple. And I don't have a lot of dirty dishes accumulating

I really prefer the Dixie Ultra Plates because I feel they are strong and will hold the food I want to eat without it spilling all over me. Nothing can ruin a meal like it falling to the ground and I don't worry about that when I am using the Dixie Ultra Plates.

It made for easy night with no dishes to wash and easy to put cake on a plate and wrap up for guestys who took leftovers after party.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these a few months ago for the first time after being disappointed in the brand i was using ,i think these plates would hold a whole chicken and they are very sturdy and nothing leaks through,never have to think about which plates i will be buying again!
