They were sturdy enough to hold the heaviest of items and the runny type foods did not leak through. They are also pretty which is wonderful for a family gathering.

They even held up with a ton of weight from the food & gravy didn't even seep through which was amazing! I will be using this brand of paper plates in the future for sure & recommend you do too!

From as small a group of 5 to 35 with extended family. Dixie Ultra plates are always used for dinner, regardless of what is being served. Sure saves on cleaning up and no one has ever complained that a plate has failed!

These are a little more expensive than the cheap white ones that get soggy & rip while you are trying to eat off them. You can even eat a steak off these one & they are still good at the end of the meal. I'll never buy anything but these, whether it is the dinner plate ir the dessert plate or the bowls! They are fabulous!

But what many don't think of is how SAFE Dixie is for your house! I have 4 generations living in my home, from newborn to WWII vet. When my 91 year old grandfather had his first stroke in October of 2014, he made it through with only the loss of his grip. Everyday, before I go to work, I make him a sandwich and place it on a Dixie plate in the fridge. He carries it with him to his room and there have been times when it has fallen out of his hands and hit the floor. With over 9 people living in this house, including a newborn who will be crawling on my floor, hidden, broken shards of glass are not acceptable! Dixie has not only made my life easier, but in some small way, safe for the family!

In addition to the quality and durability, they are very nice looking and can be matched to your decor since there are so many patterns to choose from as well.

They are the strongest plates one can use without having to worry about the plate sagging or spilling something. Whether you have a little or a lot it maintains Its consistency. Ice cream, gravy, lots of meat it doesn't seem to matter. I marvel at the years of it being the most durable plate.
