I really like these frozen tilapia fillets. They are a bit small and thin, because tilapia fillets are usually small and thin, but they have a great flavor without having a fishy taste. They pan fry quickly in a little oil - I use a little seasoning (Old Bay, or lemon pepper) and lemon juice and have a very tasty meal in just a few minutes. They are very well priced, and I'll definitely buy them again!

I purchase two packs of the tilapia. And both packages either smelled of ammonia before cooking and smelled of ammonia after cooking. Both packages of fish will purchase in August 2024, and both were bad! I have always enjoyed the fish that I purchased from Sam's club but this purchase have totally changed that. I will no longer be buying frozen fish from Sam's club anymore!

Only 2 fillets were cooked & they tasted horrible… like they were marinated in ammonia or other chemicals… I certainly hope these weren’t farmed in china… both my pregnant daughter & I couldn’t eat more than 1 small piece… I sure hope it didn’t harm us internally… I will be returning ASAP

The tilapia fillets (IMO) are huge and the quality of the last couple of bags I’ve purchased has been absolutely A1. I am eating low carb and, once properly thawed, this tilapia is quick to cook and break up over a micro-green salad with a homemade chipotle sauce (1 can chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, 1 cup of mayo {you could replace mayo with sour cream or plain yoghurt}, juice of 1 lime, 1 to 2 cloves of garlic, and a pinch of salt or not; placed in a blender or food processor until creamy and well blended—this sauce is super spicy).
