I was looking for a way to add healthy fish to my family's diet, and compared this to the Parmesan Crusted Tilapia Filets. I went with these since they were only 90 calories, but I made a mistake. I did some research on tilapia when I got home, and apparently fish that is A) Farm-raised, and B) from China, is the WORST you can buy. An excerpt from the USDA website states "Tilapia has been a highly marketed fish over the last decade. Last year, 80% of our Tilapia, 382 million pounds, was imported from China. Chinese Tilapia is farm raised and pumped full of antibiotics and growth hormones." Yuck. I'm disappointed that Sam's Club would carry a potentially harmful product like this. I'll go back to the moderately higher priced Parmesan Crusted Tilapia, which is from the USA.

The guys at curbside pickup throw items around. You can see them doing it. So I wasn’t too shocked when I saw my tilapia bag ripped open. I don’t even know if all the fish is still in the bag because the hole is huge. The guy who loaded it in my truck had to have seen it. I tried to add a photo, but the app, as usual, is not letting me.

I’ve bought this many times from Sams Club. I bake it and it’s always delicious. But tonight, this fish tasted spoiled. I baked 4 pieces for the family, we took one bite and I had to throw it away. Not sure what happened. Maybe it thawed out in transport and then it was refrozen (?). Not sure. I plan to take the rest of the package back for a refund. Sams is usually good on refunds as long as you have a receipt.

Like I saw in another recent review something has changed with these fillets. I have cooked twice with this package and with recipes that are sure fire recipes and the fish is mushy and disgusting. The last recipe I made just the other night my wife and I threw it out it was so bad.

The taste is very ofd. My kids refuse to eat and i my self felt the same.

I threw this out. It was like it was frozen, then thawed and refrozen but have of it was bad. I know not to buy this ever again. No fish at Sam's.

Very good. No fishy taste. Like that it is individual portions/individually wrapped….just wish it was wild caught and not from China
