This will be our second summer with this playset and we still love it! Definitely worth the money to keep our kids (2 and 7) busy during the pandemic! I would highly recommend paying for the assembly cost rather than DIY as it took my husband and several other handy friends about 13 hours to put together.

Compared to other brands BD is affordable to us common folks. However, I had mixed feelings buying it because I read that the quality was poor. But, other play sets that are better quality don’t have the details that BD has. After buying it and assembling it, I agree that the wood is the absolute cheapest most flimsy material ever! I am amazed that it even holds up. I decided that at minimum this will do for several years. It won’t last until she’s 10 for sure, she’s 3 now. Having said that, it’s very small. I’m 5’2”, 125 lbs and getting up there to slide with her is actually painful. Unlike the Gorilla set that we replaced (because it hadn’t been taken care of for at least the past 5-7 years and had been there for at least 10..). That’s the difference, gorilla sets cost significantly more. You get what you pay for. My 3 year old loves it though. So it’s fine for now.

Our child loves playing in his backyard set! He loves to climb and slide and BBQ. When a storm came through and his mixer got wet we contacted the customer service office they were so helpful in replacing the parts which made him so happy. Thank you for making such a great toy that will be enjoyed for years to come.

We bought this when no one could go to the park for the kids. They just love it. Curly slide is a bonus. It does take time to put together if you didn't pay someone. It is a must with two people and patience that's for sure. The curly slide was a little rough to put together. Overall it is worth time for the kids. Sturdy and well put together.

Though we exceeded the suggested build time of 8 hours, it really was not hard to assemble. I am very detail oriented so we took our time, read ahead and made sure it was done right the first time. though the instructions that came in the box were confusing at times, the Bilt Ap made it much easier to follow. it broke down the booklet into smaller more manageable easy to follow steps. the kids love it so much that we have a hard time getting them off of it for meal time. the second level has been proven big enough for then to enjoy a little picnic up there from time to time. the only negative is the rock wall. I feel like there needs to be an additional support beam to go across the middle as the center of each plank is quite flimsy. I will be adding one in myself soon.

We bought this for our 3 yr olds birthday. The reviews made it a little daunting to start constructing, but it went better than expected! My husband, dad, and brother did the main tower part over a few days, complaining about it being complicated. I did all the slide stands and slides myself, while watching a 8mth old and 3 year old, and I found it pretty simple while following the instructions. It took a few days just bc I had the kids to care for as well, but I enjoyed putting it together! Both boys love this set! I’m so glad we got it!

I bought this in July 2020. Shipping was right on time and communicated well. The app with instructions is super helpful! One piece was cracked but it was easy to fix with glue, a screw, and clamps. It took us 14 hours with 3 people to build. It looks great and our kids love it!

I bought this set last summer and after looking at countless other companies and did a lot of research and finally finalized my choice and I am so happy with the Bristol point!! It far exceeded all my expectations and is worth it for the price! Definitely get what you pay for. You can’t go wrong with the quality of the the woodwork, compared to other competitors out there. My boys are 3 and 5 years old and they love the tube slide and swing set the most (we added a spider swing on one side). They let their imaginations run wild and are on it for a few hours a day. I had my contractor place a water resistant wood seal on it for added protection against the weather elements to ensure the color to prevent fading/damage.I feel like backyard discoveries does it well with amazing quality products that will withstand the test of time!!

My wife and I wanted a quality swingset for our kids to enjoy. Searched all over read lots and lots of reviews. This one was by far the best for us. We received it in 3 boxes... we were like o my.. but it was so easy to assemble with the built app as well as the manual. The kids absolutely love it. So happy with the product and the brand.
