Great speed. Starts up in 20 seconds. If it had 16 gig RAM it would be a 5 star.

The speed is fantastic,colors are vivid. Love the new 11.

Appears to be good hardware, but had to get HP customer service help to upgrade WIN 10 OS to Winn 11. Also, 2 yr . warranty service pack was a hassle to get registered and approved.

Speed is OK. Operates well-a bit warm after 30 min or so, but this unit has undoubtedly the worst keyboard for seeing in daylight that I've ever come across. The backlighting is nice at night (wish it would stay on all the time when plugged in), but in daylight you have to be right on top of the keyboard, looking at a 90°angle to be able to read it. Any other angle makes it almost impossible to see for us older non touch-typists.

Mostly, HP always comes through with a good reliable product. Nothing lasts forever, as my last HP laptop took a dump before it's time. BUT, I still bought this one hoping that it will perform and last just as long as it is suppose to. So here I am again with HP!

Opened up started computer turned off and would not start up again. Called HP talked with them for hour and half could not get working. They sent prepaid box to return to get sent back for repairs. Received back from repair and working fine so far.

My son is a Union Electrician. After 4 years of electrical in votech. Now he has 5 more years of school with the Union. This Laptop is perfect for his needs. Large screen, Long battery life and fast storage. This will work well for him in his endeavor. And at the price he got this at $150 off Sam's already low price, it was a no brainer!

I love my HP i7 laptop! I use mainly for college assignments including zoom meetings. This is not a 'touchscreen,' which is fine, I am not a big fan of touchscreen (battery life). The 17.3" screen is nice size, HUGE! Not a big fan of mousepad, I opted for the corded mouse. And I also purchased a better quality HP adaptor, the 45w adaptor that came with the laptop gets heated pretty quick and feels cheap. Sam's Club always have better warranty coverage. Overall, I am satisfied with my HP i7 11th generation laptop :)

I have multiple HP and other brand laptops. This was to replace a budget level Lenovo laptop with a decade old pentium chip in it. Had the newer i7 chip, and HP has been good in the past, saw the sale, so jumped on it. Was a mistake. The internal "hard drive" is small... it won't even take a portion of the data from the laptop it is replacing. The trackpad is ok, large for plenty of movement space, but no buttons that are separate, so that makes it more difficult than needed. Ok, use an external mouse or trackball, right? Not so fast, only 1 usb plug, no CD/DVD slot either. Again, was in description, but missed... and not really easy to work around. Not enough time spent with the computer to know about the keyboard layout, feel etc, but enough to realize this isn't going to cut it for my needs. Too bad, was a good price. Sometimes, price isn't everything. Should have read more reviews, but figured I could make it work. Unfortunately, not going to keep the laptop, on the way back to return now.
