Got my laptop at a very good price during Black Friday week. Has specs similar to many 15" gaming laptops, but bigger is better since it will be stationary. Set up is a breeze with talking guidelines. Good for the non tech people. Since it has a SSD boots fast and also installs win 11 at a very fast pace. The scree with HDR is superb. I recommend doing the full install including the phone, and messages. A lot easier with the setup guidance.

Out of the box so far the PC has run as it is expected to for the price. Boots fast, no errors or issues with the OS. Don't connect to Wi-Fi or Network during configuration if you want an offline account on it. Nice size, thin and easy to carry around. Plenty of ports if more are needed a nice USB-C hub works good on the PC. Buy the extra warranty if you can afford it for the peace of mind. Better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.

I have used both desktop and laptop computers from Dell for over twenty years. I noticed this model received great reviews and was several hundred dollars less tan a comparable Dell model. So far, I have been very pleased with its performance.

Gift to my dad. He really likes it and enjoys how fast it seems to bee. Everything works well. Lid can be hard to open, but thats only complaint so far.

Great quality laptop for the price! Top-notch processor, high quality screen, plenty of room on the keyboard, TouchPad is responsive. Not too much bloatware installed. I do miss the option for a touchscreen, but I'll get over it.

Was a great buy , the extra 2 year warranty is a bonus! Priced it out on the HP website and found it to be considerably more expensive , and it would take a month to get !

I didn't realize at the time that I bought this laptop that it didn't have a ethernet port. If you want to connect this laptop via hard wire to your network you will need some type of docking station that either plugs into the USC-C port or one of the regular USB-A ports. I am using this for work and work in the basement where the WIFI is a little weak so for me the hardwire connection is critical. The keyboard needs to be some type of contrasting color. When sitting at the kitchen table working with a little bit of sunlight coming into the kitchen the keyboard gets washed out and the letters/number become hard to see. I wish it came with an internal DVD drive but realize that most laptops these days are doing away with internal drives. Since I had some program install disks that I wanted to use I bought an external DVD drive that worked just fine to get some of my older programs installed and set up.

Nice slim laptop. My only complaint is that it has no SD card reader at all. And really not enough slots to plug things into it. But it is a nice computer.

My only small complaint that keeps me from giving this laptop five stars is the keys are hard to read depending on the light. Otherwise, I am very happy and satisfied.

DO NOT BUY. I bought 2 of these and both came with 2 year warranty. After 3 weeks messages came up that the warranty expired. Now fighting with HP to get it back. Plan on returning these to Sams Club.
