I was so excited to see this set available at Sam's and for a great price. As a mom of three toddlers, this set screamed hours of entertainment to me! Delivery did not take as long as expected which was a huge plus. Set up took much longer than anticipated and was quite frustrating as the video tutorial and instruction manual did not always match. During assembly, we found that we were missing the steering wheel assembly kit, several pieces came cracked and the wavy slide was damaged. Furthermore, some pieces consisted of poor quality wood and cracked during construction. I have a running list of replacement part needs. We managed to get it set up in about 3 days time, finishing it on 5/1. The kids were ecstatic! They called it their “park”. Watching them run down the yard smiling and screaming with excitement brought tears to my eyes. Within a months time, we noticed things falling apart! My children, just three years old, do not weigh enough nor are they strong enough to cause the type of deconstruction we are seeing. The screws holding the boards on the rock wall literally starting breaking in half! The boards now just fall off! I can't use other screws as the running board in the back is of such poor quality, it is cracking. The “pop out” on the front, that the wavy slide connects to, is collapsing! Again, the hardware has failed. The list goes on and on. As of 6/17, the set has been deemed nearly unusable and has become an extremely overpriced piece of yard decor. I am so disappointed. We did everything we were supposed to! We followed all of the instructions! We took our time and made sure it was done right. I don't know what steps to take at this point. I don't know if I should start with the manufacturer or with Sam's. It's not like it's a small item you can just throw in the car and return but I certainly want my money back for this product. My littles are sad and I'm sad for them. I really expected so much more out of this set.

I found the set to be fairly easy to put up, I did about 80% all by myself. Eventually you will just need the extra set of hands but nothing was too crazy. The most frustrating part was some of the hardware did not want to thread nicely which tore the soft wood pretty good. Also the boards letters/numbers that identified the piece were sometimes hard to read and easy to get backwards. But despite the back tracking here or there it was done quickly and easily and the kids love it.

My husband and I bought this set last year. It took a few days for us to fully build it (the twisty slide was one of the longest parts!) But it is so much fun. It is very sturdy and the kids love it. We had a hard time getting the stakes in the ground, but all in all, a great product.

Plan on at LEAST 3 days to assemble this thing. My biggest beef with this is the INCREDIBLE number of different size screws, bolts, washers, lag nuts, etc.. (Definitely recommend laying them out in an organized fashion by #'s). Labels on the wood pieces should also be easier to read/spot. I think the designers could have reduced the number of different connector sizes at least in half had they really thought it through. Tube slide took 2 people (intelligent grandma's) 8 hours to assemble. The rest of it has been taking me three 6-8 hour days to assemble so far, and I have another full day! I'm good at following directions, and with building wood projects, and I think progressing at average speed, but this one really takes the cake. As for quality, the cedar wood is VERY light weight, which doesn't bode well for longevity if you don't treat it yearly.

Our child loves playing in his backyard set! He loves to climb and slide and BBQ. When a storm came through and his mixer got wet we contacted the customer service office they were so helpful in replacing the parts which made him so happy. Thank you for making such a great toy that will be enjoyed for years to come.

This set is a good deal for the price. It can be set up by two people, but it will take way longer than the suggested time frame of 8 hours. It's is sturdy and a good design. The directions are decent in the beginning, however you can tell whoever wrote them got tired at the end. Putting the kitchen area together was out of order which made it difficult to put that area together. The spiral slide is also difficult for the same reasons. Also, some of the wood was damaged upon delivery. We fixed using plastic wood. It wasnt worth it us to try and return or replace. Overall, we love it and our girls will make many memories to come.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this swingset a couple months ago. It's definitely a labor of love to assemble. Using both the paper instructions and the app is helpful! We needed a replacement board, and it was such an easy and quick process. Most importantly my kids couldn't be happier.

I Put this together by myself a hour or so a day after work, took me about a week. Instructions were well laid out. The only issue i had was the tube slide. That was a little too much alone. Having two or more people would make it a breeze to put together in an afternoon or 2. Everything works great and the kids love it. I Recommend.

Looks great and the materials were good quality. Recommend laying out bolts by number and either pre-sorting them by step or have someone gathering boards and hardware while other connects. 1 or 2 bolts didn’t seem long enough but it was very very few. Tube slide was instructions were just ok but the images are accurate. It was a 2 day build with 2 guys with 8 to 9 hours each day. Overall positive experience.

We installed this playscape a month or two ago for our 3 year old granddaughter and she loves it !!! My son in law and I built the playscape in a few days. Lots of parts but good instructions and fairly easy to put together.. Was definitely a great purchase!!! We recommend this playscape!
