Came in, everything was here- only one board was slightly broken but able to use! Set up took about 12-13 hours- w/at least 4 people. Instructions were great!! Def would tell recommend having someone start the curly slide!! That was a little rough but we got it!! Kids LOVED IT!!

Bought this play set for the twins 3rd birthday they have loved playing on it during these summer days. Really happy with the purchase and the sound structure when putting it together. Assembly was not too difficult. Took me a day with my brother. Was just like putting together a lego set. Great purchase for the kids to have some safe outdoor fun in the comfort of your own backyard.

I spent several days trying to decide on which swing set to purchase. I usually don't take the time to write reviews but I always read them when making a purchase so I have to share my great experience. We purchased this set in June and my husband was able to assemble in a few days, although time consuming he felt the instructions and pieces made it easy to assemble. My kids loved this set and all the features it had to offer. Unfortunately after a recent storm a large tree limb fell and caused a significant amount of damage but after speaking with the AMAZING customer service reps at backyard discovery they helped me order replacement parts and also offered a significant discount on parts and shipping :) I also had to call back during the re-assembly for additional parts that I forgot and they shipped for free. The swing set is again fully assembled thanks to the EXCELLENT customer service (and my husband) :)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Whether taking a spin in the looped slid or climbing the rock wall, we can tell our daughter enjoys all the different features of this Swingset. The feature we did not expect was the play kitchen has sound effects. However, while this feature is cool, it took one rain to totally ruin these toys from working. Not a big deal, but discouraging when our daughter did enjoy the sounds and actions of the toys.

Compared to other brands BD is affordable to us common folks. However, I had mixed feelings buying it because I read that the quality was poor. But, other play sets that are better quality don’t have the details that BD has. After buying it and assembling it, I agree that the wood is the absolute cheapest most flimsy material ever! I am amazed that it even holds up. I decided that at minimum this will do for several years. It won’t last until she’s 10 for sure, she’s 3 now. Having said that, it’s very small. I’m 5’2”, 125 lbs and getting up there to slide with her is actually painful. Unlike the Gorilla set that we replaced (because it hadn’t been taken care of for at least the past 5-7 years and had been there for at least 10..). That’s the difference, gorilla sets cost significantly more. You get what you pay for. My 3 year old loves it though. So it’s fine for now.

I ordered this a couple months ago and my son loves it! Only critique is that the directions could be a little better. There are few words and a ton of diagrams. Some are not the best. The twisty slide took over 2 hours to put together but that is because there are a ton of nuts and bolts!

Very entertaining set. Kids love it! It took about 10 hours to assemble. The twisty slide is challenging, but a fun addition. My only issue is that I paid $1599 on Sams.com, but my local Sam's had it displayed for $1099 and refused to price match--ugh.

My grandaughter loves it so far but we are missing the pots and pans and a blender attachment I guess. Purchased this playset 3 months ago. Took myself 2 days to put together with relative ease. Takes more time looking for individual pieces than it does to put together I think. Piece of advice, download the “BILT” app and follow the 3D walkthrough. The paper instructions were ok, but the app makes putting the play set together sooooo much easier. Set came in 4 heavy boxes and the slide wrapped in plastic. All pieces and hardware were accounted for. No issues putting together. Might want to take a fine grit sandpaper to some of the high traffic areas for little hands. Screws to secure the rockwall boards are flimsy. Had to replace almost half with some longer, sturdier wood screws I had on hand. Overall, a good buy. Kids love it.

We just bought this swing set and are mid construction. My kids are thrilled and can’t wait until it’s up. A couple of things that I have noticed through assembly is that while most of the wood pieces are high-quality there are some that we need to have replaced. That is to be expected with a wood product by Quality Control could be a little better as some pieces are fully split. Also, a couple of bolts and screws are not usable. This is not a big deal if extra were included but so far it looks like they are not. All in it seems like a product that we will be very happy with once these small issues are addressed.
