The product is still good but the new packaging is DANGEROUS and resulted in a trip to the ER leaving me with a mallet finger and wearing a splint for 8 weeks. DO NOT TRY TO OPEN THIS WITHOUT HELP!!. I have normal to large hands (glove size 8) for a women and good hand strength, but the new paper container which must be pinched and pulled at the same time has left me injured. Luckily I still have on of the old plastic screw top containers to transfer the powder to. I now use a bread knife to slice off the paper top rather than trying to pull it open.

New packaging is terrible and cheap! I ordered online and received the cheap recycled container. Not worth the buy for me as it basically bends in when you grab it and it didn’t come with scoop. Too is flimsy it’s just terrible! Great product but terrible container.

This review is not on the powder itself, but on why would they not include a scooper? Makes no sense. My previous collagen had a scooper in it and was very convenient since I'm always on the go when I take the collagen. I don't have time to take a scale out and weigh out 20g of collagen. I ordered online, so I wasn't aware that it doesn't come with a scooper. Maybe when they add a scooper, I will buy it again, but for now, I'll have to purchase my collagen elsewhere.

I love this stuff and have been adding it to my coffee for several years now. But the new packaging is AWFUL! Extremely difficult to open, especially for someone who has arthritic and/or slightly weakened hands. Who decided this was a good idea? I'm glad I saved a previous plastic tub. I will just use a box cutter to get into this dumb canister and pour it into the plastic tub.

Horrible new packaging, they switched to a cheaper packaging but still kept their prices up. And Sustainable future is their response? What sustainable future if you lose your customers? How many of these poor reviews and lost customers is it going to take to listen and go back to your old packaging? People are sick of it. Please start listening to these reviews and giving generic poor responses. Listen to your customers, especially the elderly who can’t even open the new packaging and give folks a new, better option. If you aren’t, drop the price if match the inferior quality. It’s a known fact it costs 68-72% more money to attract new customers than it does to maintain the ones you have.

The "new" packaging with the lid that folds back, etc. was nearly impossible to get open.....it is not user friendly -- I had to take a sharp knife and poke at it several times to finally get the lid to release. That, along with no scoop still? Going to go back to another product.

I have been using this exact collagen for months now. I just purchased another one on July 21st and it is most definitely not the same. Either it’s a bad batch or they have changed the ingredients. It no longer dissolves and it tastes REALLY bitter. I am returning for a refund. I’m scared to even try another.

Good sell price

I was very disappointed in the product I received. The new packaging was impossible to open and I struggled for at least 5 minutes. Once I got it opened I was greeted by a warning saying that by opening and using this product I agreed to be bound by their terms and conditions set forth at vitalproteins.com which include a mandatory arbitration agreement and if you do not agree to be bound please return this product immediately. And that's exactly what I will be doing, returning it. The Sam's Club page should have this warning on there that you are agreeing to their mandatory arbitration agreement. If it had been there I never would have purchased it and now I have to be bothered to return it. Shame on vital proteins for hiding this information under the lid.

Just realized looking at this the sodium is way too much! Been taking this for a long time but im trying to limit my sodium and tgis is way too high. Looking at the "Best Collagen" and this is not it according to google. Ill have to try something different.
