The product itself is exceptional. The new packaging, away from the plastic container, to a new type of lid, is not effective in keeping moisture out of the container and contaminating the product. I would pay slightly more to get back the plastic container with the screw top lid.

Purchased this a week ago, will update after a month of use. Looked at some reviews and found out this is not the original as this is missing Vitamin C and hyaluronic acid. So the difference between the two is below. I was very disappointed in the product I received. The new packaging was impossible to open and I struggled for at least 5 minutes. Once I got it opened I was greeted by a warning saying that by opening and using this product I agreed to be bound by their terms and conditions set forth at vitalproteins.com which include a mandatory arbitration agreement and if you do not agree to be bound please return this product immediately. And that's exactly what I will be doing, returning it. The Sam's Club page should have this warning on there that you are agreeing to their mandatory arbitration agreement. If it had been there I never would have purchased it and now I have to be bothered to return it. Shame on vital proteins for hiding this information under the lid.

This review is not on the powder itself, but on why would they not include a scooper? Makes no sense. My previous collagen had a scooper in it and was very convenient since I'm always on the go when I take the collagen. I don't have time to take a scale out and weigh out 20g of collagen. I ordered online, so I wasn't aware that it doesn't come with a scooper. Maybe when they add a scooper, I will buy it again, but for now, I'll have to purchase my collagen elsewhere.

I used this product all the time until you changed the container. It is nearly impossible to open! I agree with all the other folks who have commented on this. I understand the desire for a "sustainable" future, but your product may not survive to get you there. Please take this seriously. I will have to go to another product since I cannot get into your container any longer.

I convinced my 81 yr old mother to start addicting this to her daily routine. She likes the product but the new packaging is terrible and I was watching her try to use a knife to open it. We will have to change brands for her to make it accessible. It took me and my 24yr old daughter and a video to figure out how to open the package. Really not worth it

I've been taking this product for years. This year supposedly ingesting 30 grams of protein per day. Well, my blood was just tested for protein and I'm below normal. I think this is not a good enough product. I'm very healthy otherwise. Here, all these years, I've been thinking I am getting the protein I need, only to find out I'm not. Don't bother buying.

I'll bring water with me to work – and add little packets of lemonade or orange flavor or whatever. And I put a tablespoon in for bottle and drink it throughout the day. I noticed that my skin is a bit softer. I bite my nails, so I'm not sure what's going on there. And I haven't noticed anything in my hair but it's nice to have softer skin.

I have been using this product for 5 yrs now. I have tried others due to cost, (expensive like everything else). When I found the new cardboard container I switched back as Iam against Plastic, the container is a bit hard to open, disposal is simple, I toss it in the burn pile, I do very little shopping on line so I do not deal with damaged goods. Iam 67 and in good health, hair and nails have always been good so Iam guessing this product is keeping me in good shape especially my joints.

I really like the regular formulation of vital proteins so I thought the addition of hyaluronic acid and vitamin c would make it that much better. Geez was I wrong. This stuff is horrible and inedible. I'm not sure why anyone thought it was a good idea to release this product.
