I bought this early February. My husband and I have been using it. I put 2 scoops in my coffee every morning. I like that it dissolves easily and I doesn't have an after taste. I began taking it because I have some knee pain. I also see my skin getting loser as I age and wanted to get back a little elasticity. I don't have as much pain on my knee. But I have not noticed too much of a difference on my skin. I will update again in about a month.

I began purchasing this product years ago and encouraged others to do the same. This product has gone down-hill , from good to trash. Initially the product contained five (5) types of collagen and was grass feed. It then stopped listing the types of collagen and "grass fed" on the label, the cost went from reasonable to extremely high, while the quality of the product drastically declined. Sam,s Club should not carry this product.

The product is still good but the new packaging is DANGEROUS and resulted in a trip to the ER leaving me with a mallet finger and wearing a splint for 8 weeks. DO NOT TRY TO OPEN THIS WITHOUT HELP!!. I have normal to large hands (glove size 8) for a women and good hand strength, but the new paper container which must be pinched and pulled at the same time has left me injured. Luckily I still have on of the old plastic screw top containers to transfer the powder to. I now use a bread knife to slice off the paper top rather than trying to pull it open.

I have been using this exact collagen for months now. I just purchased another one on July 21st and it is most definitely not the same. Either it’s a bad batch or they have changed the ingredients. It no longer dissolves and it tastes REALLY bitter. I am returning for a refund. I’m scared to even try another.

Purchased this a week ago, will update after a month of use. Looked at some reviews and found out this is not the original as this is missing Vitamin C and hyaluronic acid. So the difference between the two is below. Collagen Peptides (with the cow label) contains 1 simple ingredient – collagen – while our Original Collagen Peptides (with the grass label) takes the benefits of collagen one step further with the addition of two other ingredients: skin-quenching hyaluronic acid and immune-boosting vitamin C.

***One star is not for the product but only for the missing safety seal that retailers needs to take accountability to avoid tampering of the product*** Per the back of the Vital Proteins container it states that if the safety seal is broken or missing to not use the product. In addition the sealant on my container has 6 pinholes; now if this is a perforated venting cap liner to allow in/out pressure of the closed container, then that is acceptable as long as the product has its safety seal for the consumers protection to avoid tampering. In my case the safety seal was missing on my container & therefore returned it back.

This review is not on the powder itself, but on why would they not include a scooper? Makes no sense. My previous collagen had a scooper in it and was very convenient since I'm always on the go when I take the collagen. I don't have time to take a scale out and weigh out 20g of collagen. I ordered online, so I wasn't aware that it doesn't come with a scooper. Maybe when they add a scooper, I will buy it again, but for now, I'll have to purchase my collagen elsewhere.

New packaging is terrible and cheap! I ordered online and received the cheap recycled container. Not worth the buy for me as it basically bends in when you grab it and it didn’t come with scoop. Too is flimsy it’s just terrible! Great product but terrible container.

Good sell price

Have used this product for several years. It's sad to say but I have decided to no longer purchase it. All because of the new cardboard opening. I have struggled with it the last few times, but this time I had to cut it open. I am a senior and I can't pull it open.
