Great product, I've been using it daily for 5 years. However, the new packaging is complete garbage. Between the challenge to get it open to behind with and the instability of the top, leaving half the product spilt all over my kitchen floor one morning - it's nothing short of a disaster. I will not be buying this product anymore due to this packaging.

I've been using this product for over a year and a half. I'm very satisfied with the product. I'm discouraged about the new packaging container. It's very hard to open and then it does not seal well. I hope it can be changed back so I don't have search for a new product. Please consider.

I just bought 2 new containers of collagen. I've been using this for the past 2 years now and this batch smells BAD. One doesn't have a smell (exp 2-7-28) BUT the newer batch (exp 6-12-28) smells like it's an expiring milk. I've now read other reviews below about this same exact issue. What the heck is going on with this product!? I'm returning and finding a new brand. This is unfortunate.

Bring back plastic containers, or at least one with a screw-on plastic top. A slight slip of the hand, and it spilled everywhere! I was able to figure it out quickly, but I lost half the container, and cleanup of collagen dust isn't simple. There is no good reason to go with all paper. We're all over it. Paper is a dirty energy intensive industry. I will buy only if price is best, and I find a glass container for the collagen.

Omgoodness!!! I LOVE this stuff!! I'm a new customer, but am hooked! Why!? Because when I add the powder ever so delicately to the inside of my low carb peanut butter strawberry jelly honey sandwich tortillas it forms a beautiful jel that is AMAZING to bite into! Especially with a sprinkle of cacao nibs … and maybe some banana slices and a few blueberries 🫐!! Am I crazy!? Yes!! 🙌 I'm a forever customer! As someone who suffers from arthritis, I have used and loved Vital Proteins for years. The new packaging however, is impossible for my hands to open. I have to cut into the container and transfer the power into something else. I admire the company for trying to cut down on plastic use, but this can't be the only solution. I will no longer be buying this product as it simply isn't worth the struggle.

I love the product - but the newish cardboard container is ridiculous - it takes forever to get the stupid thing open, and then the 'lid' doesn't fit nice and tightly! If I I had not saved one of the original plastic containers that I can transfer it to, I would never purchase it again. PLEASE READ THIS MESSAGE!!! And, why on earth do I have to enter a nickname to submit a comment?!!

My husband and I both use this product. Our son recommended that we take this and bought our first container. Now we are in out 80s and with your new packaging can hardly open this with our arthritic hands without making a mess. We always recycled. We are left with having to change brands.

HATE, HATE, THE NEW PACKAGING! I don't think that this change is going to save the earth! Love the product but will have to look elsewhere. It's no fun having to use a knife to open the top and store it in a completely different container. I could live with the removal of the scoop, but I can't live with the change to the lid.

I have been using this product for 2 years and I love the improvement to my skin, hair and nails. However, there have been numerous changes to the vital proteins unflavored powder in the past year. The serving size on 1 container is 1 1/2 tablespoons and another container it is 2 tablespoons. It could be because we have received 2 different size blue scoops. But some packaging no longer contains a scoop. The last container I bought online was called a "beauty formula" with different packaging. The latest container I bought is a totally different formula with the breakout of the amino acid profile. Not sure what the daily requirement is for amino acids, so this labeling didn't mean anuthing to me (why not tout the benefits of the amino acids in your labeling?). This same container had yet a larger white scoop than the other 2 blue scoops I have had in other products, no plastic pull tab, but a foil tamper evident safety seal. In addition, the powder texture is much different, yet mixes well in coffee. The problem is that at the end of the cup of coffee, the last of the coffee is like "sludge" and it tastes awful. I am tired of all of the changes with serving sizes (1 1/2 tbls and 2 tbls), scoops included/not included, different sizes of scoops (20 CC and 25 CC and the white scoop) and formulation changes. I am switching to another brand for my husband and myself.
