The new cardboard packaging with the pinch and pull is the worst packaging of any product I have ever owned. I had to transfer the entire content to another container to be able to use it as I destroyed the lid in my attempt to open it. I have used this product for a couple of years and had no issues with it. But this packaging is the deal breaker. I will be shopping for another brand.

I can't believe how far this company has slid downhill over the last few years. I've used this product for years and then very happy, for the most part. Now, I just opened my very last container that I will ever purchase. First, you take away the scoop. As if people just have measuring spoons hanging around at the office, if that's where they use the product. So apparently we all need to purchase a set of measuring spoons to keep in the container from now on. If that's not bad enough, you now change the packaging to some sort of cardboard contraption that is near impossible to open. I know that my dad and stepmom with their arthritis would never be able to open this container. I wasn't able to open it simply because I have long nails. I literally had to go to my neighbor's house and have them open it for me! That's ridiculous! Not to mention that on the inner seal there's a disclaimer saying that if you open the product you are agreeing to arbitration and that if you don't agree you should return the product. What kind of nonsense is going on with this company! I'm done. I will be giving their competitors my business in the future.

I love the product and love the attempt at using less plastic in the packaging. But, the canister design needs to go back to the drawing board. I am spending the morning cleaning my entire pantry because the cardboard lid can fall off easily and between the cardboard canister being so wide it's hard to grasp with one hand and the cardboard having a sheen that makes the paper slippery - it's a mishap that has almost happened several times and today it happened. Will be storing this powder in a different container.

I like the product. My problem is that for the last 2 times I've purchased, the container is a little bit over half full. Meaning noy full to the top as it use to be. I just opened my new container and it was sad. :( It is disappointing. For what it's worth, it should be filled.

Been using Vital Proteins since they first came out. It was a brand that I trusted and I liked the results of the product. They definitely changed something they are probably using fillers to save money and cutting back on product quality. They no longer offer a scoop so that tells you money is the bottom line and not the consumer. My last two containers taste like plastic and bitter I took both back as this stuff is not cheap. I am now using a less expensive better brand which is like the old Vital Proteins tasteless.

I used to love this product but cannot deal with this new packaging. Days into having it I found multiple little brown BUGS IN IT as the cardboard packaging DOES NOT SEAL. The product itself is good but by cheaping out on packaging you've disgusted me.

It's a little weird to review the container but this one deserves it. Vital Proteins is clearly committed to the environment and excellence. I have been using Vital Proteins collagen for a few years after it was recommended to me by a friend and I have loved the benefits. In the last year I noticed that they got rid of the plastic scoop that was included and now the bucket is no longer plastic. It seems like they really put some time and lots of effort in designing this new one but they nailed it. I love using it even more than the old one. Kudos to this company. I will be supporting them as long as they keep making loves like this.

My husband and I both use this product. Our son recommended that we take this and bought our first container. Now we are in out 80s and with your new packaging can hardly open this with our arthritic hands without making a mess. We always recycled. We are left with having to change brands.

Thank you for switching to a compostable package! Oatmeal has been sold in paper canisters forever with no troubles, so I'm glad you made the switch. It's good to know my new Collagen canister will disintegrate unlike my old plastic ones, which will be around for centuries to come. :o\

Hello...Ive been using this product for almost a year. I received a new package and the product is more powdery and will not dissolve like before in hot coffee. It just sits on top of the coffee like a lump until I really have to stir and stir. What did you do to the product? If it won't dissolve in hot coffee I know it won't in a cold drink. I now give your product from a 5 star to a 2 star. (Collagen Peptides Advanced)
