Love this stuff but when they say mix with your favorite drink think twice what that drink is. I added it to my glass of Diet Coke. It completely foamed over the glass and what did stay in the glass clumped. Maybe "Do not mix with carbonated beverages" should be added to label

First let me say I love the actual product. I've used your collagen a long time and it's excellent. Now let me tell you that the devil himself must've designed your new paper packaging and as much as I love your product, the unholy misery it takes to open it is absolutely not worth the ire that comes from my body and the expletives that come from my mouth just attempting it. You should immediately fire whoever designed that. I understand your desire to remove the plastic, but this “solution” is unacceptable. I'll be finding another brand that doesn't put me through torture to use their product. I know I'm not alone in this review because I've read so many of the same on pretty much every page that sells your product. Listen to the people already.

I've been using Vital Proteins unflavored Collagen Peptides for more than a year. After a couple of months y nails started to grow and strengthen. I was exceptionally pleased. But one month a competitor's product was on sale and I thought I'd try it. Well, I just finished the entire container and my nails are in terrible shape. They've been breaking, peeling, and cracking. I've gone back to Vital Proteins and will never stray again. I learned my lesson. Not all collagen peptides are equal.

Hate the new cardboard packaging. Have been using this collagen for several years and love it, and I appreciate the company's efforts to use less plastic, but I've been fighting with this new paper container for 15 minutes now and can't even get it open. "Pinch rim and pull up." Right. More like hack at it with a pair of kitchen shears. Which I did. Which mangled the lid and rendered it useless. So unless you have strong, arthritis-free hands, good luck. Good thing I still have the plastic screw-top jar from the previous collagen order to refill.

Good product, and I agree the package is not easy but once I figured it out it works perfectly fine! So happy to do away with plastic! I like to mix it with my smoothie, but recently I tried stirring it into my cold cup of almond milk and noticed it gelled. That's kinda weird. Still like this product!

I've been using this product for years. We saved the scoop from the last container that had one, and have been using it since. A win for the environment. But the new packaging?! Impossible to open, and then faced with acceptance of terms and conditions?! Not sure what is going on, but it doesn't seem like this packaging has been product tested. Has it been tested with the average person who doesn't have strong fingers? Must I find and read terms and conditions before seeing what I'm getting into? We will be looking around for a similar product that is easier to open. This isn't worth the aggravation.

I'm pretty happy with this product. My hair feels softer and I'm finally meeting my daily protein intake with this added to my daily diet. I barely notice a taste which I prefer. And LOVE that the container is 90% paper versus plastic. You have to pay attention to direction when opening container but worth it - the less plastic my food touches the healthier the product is for my body.

This is my favorite collagen protein and I've tried many. It is my first time purchasing with the new packaging. Daunting at first but managed to open and reseal perfectly fine. The product itself seems a little different though in that it now leaves a powder film on top of my coffee but never has in the past. I can get by it but it's just different.

I am so grateful for your removal of the plastic scoop in each package and the new plastic free container! I had a slightly difficult time realizing how to get the new packaging open but when I figured it out- it's brilliant! Thank you for helping keep our planet more plastic free!

HORRIBLE new packaging! I aggressively support your effort to reduce plastic in your container but it is impossible to open per the instructions. I literally shredded the first container & then refilled my old plastic one. Send this back to your engineering group ASAP before your sales are impacted.
