Let me start by saying that I was skeptical about Vital Proteins but then I bought a jar just to try. After the first week, I did notice a difference in my skin because I normally have dry skin and in just a few weeks, my skin became so moisturized, it was actually becoming greasy! Not a problem for me as that was easier to deal with than constant moisturizing. Then half a year passed and I noticed my ponytail was thicker! I love this collagen powder and when I stopped using it, I realized skin started to become dry again. The reason I stopped using it is because the formula changed. I used to add it to water and coffee with zero clumping and it was odorless and tasteless. Now, I'm not sure what happened. The last jar I got clumps so badly, has little brown specks (no longer pearly white fine powder) smells really weird, and tastes weird too. I nearly gag having to swallow this stuff. Perhaps the additional hyaluronic acid and vitamin C is doing it, but honestly, the taste and texture is horrendous so I had to put them into capsules to swallow. It refused to mix with yogurt and clumped on the bottom of my blender blade.

I'm pleased with this product, which I've used since 2017. It worked miracles with my formerly weak & unsightly fingernails. Vital Proteins are a good way to get more digestible protein, as I'm working to get acid reflux under control with minimal proton pump inhibitors. I was glad they added hyaluronic (sp?) acid, but the powder got harder to dissolve at that time. It takes 2-3 times as long to dissolve it in my DIY latte, and I find little clumps of it sticking to my spoon as I eat collagens with my morning oats. If they solve the dissolving problem, I'd give it a 5+.

I tried this after seeing some of my friends using it. I was just looking for the skin benefits, I didn't even realize how much protein this has! The first container I got was just all wrong.. It didn't dissolve even in hot liquids and made whatever I put it in taste like beef. I reached out and they sent me a replacement and I could not be happier. It dissolved immediately and I can't taste it at all. Excited to see what it actually does for me!

I love this product and use it almost daily. I was thrilled that you have changed containers and gone to cardboard. Yes, I will admit that it was a struggle to open the container. And, I got it open on the third or fourth try. My appreciation for your willingness to go the extra mile and work on a cardboard alternative outweighs the current inconvenience of opening it. I love the benefits of this supplement. It has made a huge difference in improving my muscle and joint health. Unfortunately it does have a strong flavor. Anyone who says different should try drinking it in plain water. I've tried both coffee and tea and it was very noticeable in both. The only thing I've found that does a decent job of masking the flavor is orange juice with a splash of half n half. It has a Creamsicle like flavor, but has a ton of sugar carbs, gets very foamy and even with a blender doesn't fully dissolve so it's less than ideal. If it truly was flavor free it would be such a great product.

I bought this a few weeks ago...i dont look 10 years younger yet, but I'll give it some more time. However, I participate in a lot of high-impact sports and my joint aches and squeakiness (yes, I had squeaky joints) had improved dramatically. To be honest, I didn't expect that. I mix it in my coffee every morning and I don't even notice it. Seriously! I expected a certain amount of grittiness, chunks, or off flavor, but it's as if I added nothing. Crazy.

I’ve been adding 2 scoops to my daily routine (1 in my coffee, 1 in my breakfast smoothie) and I cannot believe the difference in my joints. I have been suffering with arthritis in the base of my thumbs and after 1 month of Vital Proteins, it is undetectable. My nails have also grown like crazy and I think my skin is brighter with some fine lines plumped out. Great product! I’m thrilled to have found it!

I have been using about 3 weeks. I put two scopes in my coffee each morning. I love that I can not detect at all (completely desolves) I am specifically looking for results in my hair volume. I have not yet seen results yet but I am optimistic it is working (I recently had surgery prior to starting where I lost a lot of hair so it might be difficult to determine in the beginning). I also think it fills me up in the morning. I have my coffee around 8:30ish and generally don't need to eat breakfast til 9:30 or 10:00 now. I also walk 4 miles in the morning prior to shower/coffee. Fingers crossed this is working. I will be updating this review in 3 or 4 months. I have actually lost 2 pounds.
