I bought this because a client of mine recommended it. She said her skin had more elasticity and her hair felt stronger. I am 28 and I know as I grow older I will lose some of the collagen my body naturally makes... so I’m trying to stay ahead of the game. This is easy to drink, mixes in nicely with my coffee. But it does not mix that well in cold drinks, it becomes a “goop”. I’d stick with warm drinks. So far I have noticed my skin looks less tired . Will be buying more.

I use vital protein collagen powder in my Kombucha and a bit of aloe juice. It's the right mixture and taste for me and I drink it over ice. I work 40 hours a week standing all day, and the collagen powder helps with my joints and recovery. I find that it also helps my gut tremendously. Also, this powder mixes so well with no lumps or caking. I highly recommend this product. As for my hair, skin and nails, I guess that will come a bit later for me to notice since I have only used this product for about two weeks. The product is pricey, but well worth it.

This product takes awhile to show much of any benefits but I find it so easy to stock with it. I'm terrible about remembering daily vitamins but keep my tub of Vital Proteins beside my coffee pot. I always start my day with coffee so it's easy to scoop out my collagen and dump it in my coffee every morning. I don't really notice any taste at all and I drink my coffee black with zero sweeteners or creamer to mask any taste! I find that it's best to scoop it into my coffee and allow it to all fully sink into the coffee on it's own. If you stir it before then, it could cake to the side of your spoon/stir. I do a quick stir after it sinks and enjoy my coffee as if it t weren't even there. I started Vital Proteins beginning of March 2021. Joint pain is starting to become noticably less and some of the fine lines (crow's feet and smile lines) have diminished some. I haven't noticed a difference in hair or nails but that is not something you'd likely see at 4 months. I believe that if I stick with this product, I will see those benefits. This isn't a quick fix. It's a supplement for some of the things we naturally start to lose as we age. My only nit-picks would be asking the company to consider sending free samples (or offering the option of a free travel packets of the product the preferred product that we purchased with EVERY order.... Not just the first few orders). Also, please stop placing the measuring cup in the canister. Digging for it is not fun. It makes you realize how incredibly sticky the powder is when it gets on your hands and mixes with any moisture. An easy solution would be to adhere it with tape/gummy glue to the top or side of the outer side of the container. Overall, I think this product is legit if you're willing to stick with it to see progress.

I get this every month with a subscription. The last shipment, as others have said, is different. It doesn't dissolve in my tea and has a really funky taste. Why??? Why did you change the formula? I don't want any more of this. It used to be great. Now it's terrible. I'll be canceling my subscription and looking for another brand. Really sad :(

I’m sure what benefits I’ve gotten from using Vital Proteins because I think I it’s too soon to tell from the outside. I imagine it’s working hard within my body to help my skin and hair and nails. I imagine I’ll see external benefits the longer I use it. Don’t care for the taste in water, but I am used to it. I think it’ll be a major support in the long run for my bones and joints.

I am loving this product - I put it in my coffee every day (or in my shake) - I have been using this for approx 5-6 months and am a huge fan - what I don't like know which is why I gave it 4 stars - the new product container - fail!! The old container was much better - the scoop doesn't fit in the new container. Just my two cents!!!

As long as I dissolved this product in a strong tea, I was unable to smell or taste it. However, I did develop cystic acne on my face and back. I’ve never had back acne before and nothing else about my diet or lifestyle changed so I determined it must be the collagen. I can’t find anything online to back up my conclusion; everything points to the opposite being true. I will stop taking this product and hope my skin clears up.

Honestly, this would also be good in a hot tea. The texture in just water (like a glass or bottle) is weird but if you can get past that then it does have multiple uses. I find that I run out of the smaller container fairly quick and wait awhile for my next order. I've been using this for about 3 months and I'm not sure that I see anything with my hair or skin. I also keep in mind that it benefits the joints as well which is something we can't see. I think this is wonderful for us coffee drinkers who want to think of our health. There is very little flavor to it, you might get it in the back of your mouth a little bit. I drink flavored coffee and don't get it at all. Sometimes I do with a smaller cup but it is not at all something that turns me off of using it.

Initially, I purchased pre and post workout VP products from this site and after much satisfaction with those products I saw the unflavored collagen peptide at Costco and got 2 bottles. No regrets. Mixes well, no weird taste as there should be none cause it’s unflavored ( but ya know some products lie. This one doesn’t ) I use this for health & beauty benefits. I do 5-7 hours a week of Kickboxing and weight training. Joints & muscles have been recovering better and faster since I started using VP line products. Skin is absolutely glowing more ( no I’m not pregnant ) compliments keep coming.

I've just received my second order of the Collagen Peptides and I cannot stress how much of a game changer it has been for me. Before starting it, I was losing quite a bit of my hair from stress and breaking off strands in the shower. I stumbled upon a VP ad one day and decided to give it a try since it claimed to promote healthy skin, hair, and nails. I love this stuff!! I have had little to no hair breakage and my hair feels thicker and stronger! The added benefits to my joints and skin are a definite plus. I add it to my morning coffee and am good for the day. I love that it's tasteless and can be mixed with anything. Can't go a morning without it. Thanks VP!
