I started drinking this collagen about 5 months ago, but I didn't expect too much. Maybe some hair growth and fingernail growth.. Much to my surprise, my stomach issues, ibs, we're almost gone! Life changing. I was close to home bound for quite some time. This gave me my life back! 5 days ago, I opened a new one and noticed little holes in the safety seal. I inspected the powder, and it appeared to be fine. That was 6 days ago, I've been homebound for the past 4 days with my tummy issues. I'll take it back to Sam's tomorrow. Hopefully, they will exchange it?

The product itself is 5 stars but they just recently changed the packaging and it won't keep the product fresh. It takes several months to get through this product and packaging matters. It sucks they don't provide a scoop and now you have to move the product to a different container once open.

I mixed the powder with milk, and it tastes awful. It definitely doe not have a neutral flavor as described on the package. I contacted Vital Proteins, and there recommendation is to use it with a smoothie. I bought the product after reading all the reviews and will return it.

After doing some research on collagen, I discovered that hydrolyzed collagen is the best and most effective. I like this collagen because it doesn’t have any taste to it and it’s fairly easily dissolved. I use it in my smoothies for my first meal in the morning. It was priced very well for a 24 ounce container. It does have a lot of amino acids which I do like. I would buy this on a regular basis if it contained hydrolyzed collagen but as of now, I will be searching online or in the health food stores for collagen that does have “hydrolyzed collagen with the same amino acids though.

I have used collagen for two years now. I usually order from an online store and pay $50 for a 30 day supply and always keep an extra on hand. I tried Vital Proteins when I ran out and realized I didn’t have a back up and saw it at Sam’s. I am truly amazed by the Vital Protein’s collagen compared to my more expensive usual. First it doesn’t clump in my coffee or hot tea, second there is little to no taste and third there is a notable difference in my hair and nails after two months of use taking one servings a day. My other collagen brand did not do that! I recommend this 100% for the results, price and convince!

When Vital Protein came out it was pretty good, but they have changed it, they when from 2lbs to 1.5lbs same price for less; additionally they removed some key ingredients and kept same same size container to fool the consumer! Once you make a fool of the customer, you loose- too bad, fortunately there are other products to chose from - good bye!

Although I can definitely tell a difference in my joint pain (I have Lupus and RA) it does help as long as I use it consistently. I can also tell a huge difference in my skin. However.... the taste is not unflavored whatsoever and it tastes awful to me. I have many friends who use in coffee and can tell no difference, but for me... I think it taste horrible. I mix two scoops in warm water and chug it down followed by juice. I find that the easiest way for me to take personally. Would still recommend.

Product dissolves well. New paper packaging is terrible. Very difficult to open with joints that hurt...pinching to pull up the thin paper lid is near impossible. We have to decant into a better container to use it and always lose a bit in the process. Disappointed in the change. Hemp plastic would have been a better choice.

I've always been a huge fan of this product but will be switching to another brand after this last shipment. This container that I just purchased does not dissolve. Clumps float to the top and then it leaves a funky tasting film on the top and around the rim of the cup. One word: YUCK!!! So disappointed in whatever it is that you decided to change.

This is by far the best collagen. It disolves instantly in my coffee and has no flavor but it adds extra creaminess. I took off one star because of the new packaging. I'm all for using less plastic but considering how exprnsive this stuff is, putting it in s flimsy cardboard container is crazy. It's insanely hard to open and you have to transfer it to a different container to keep ot fresh.
