I have tried almost every protein out there to add to my homemade smoothies and my taste buds and body cannot tolerate most of them. I am so happy to have found vital proteins as it is a true protein source, with no added fillers, and it's tasteless. I can add it to my smoothies as well as my husband's and kids' and they don't complain! I drink smoothies in spurts and I can always tell when it's been a while since I've had my Vital Proteins because my nails will not be as strong and my hair doesn't grow as fast / is weaker. I love that this provides a flavorless protein as well as collagen, which has so many benefits. Thanks for making a wonderful product that I and my whole family can enjoy.

I'm supposed to eat a high protein died and have a hard tine getting the amount of protein each day that doctors recommend. I put a couple scoops in my coffee each morning and get 40 gm of protein first thing in the morning. It dissolves better than any other product I've tried, with no taste.

Such an easy way to add protein and collagen to your diet. I mix one scoop to each cup of coffee in the morning. Mixes easily into hot liquid and can’t taste the difference. My nails and hair have never looked bettee - growing in length and strength.

I haven't been using this long enough to know whether it is beneficial for my hair, skin, and nails. I do know, however, that it does not dissolve well in anything other than hot liquids. Additionally, it does have a flavor regardless of "unflavored" claims, making it not so enjoyable in my tea.

I would like to know what have you changed in this product, other than the text on the the label, from "original" to "advanced", that warrants the price increase? If it is the same product "as we have come to love", why then not say the price is increasing, instead of a long, content-empty email to subscribers? Also, the product is no longer manufactured by a Franklin Park company, it is manufactured "for" that company. Please provide a real answer below, instead of asking me to call or email you. The current batch of product is much more soluble and easy to mx. There are gradual improvements in overall skeletal and muscular functions. It took the consumption of 6 jars of product at 2 scoops/day to see some noticeable improvements, so I will continue to use it. The beef collagen found in the Gummi Coke Bottles manufactured in Turkey, at the rate of consumption of one bag per day for about 2 weeks gave dramatic results, but they are acidic and not good for the teeth, since they have to be chewed. I would look into isolating and studying the specific collagens in that particular product, from that specific source, since there may be structural differences in those collagens, and because additional proteinacious substances may be present.

I have been taking this daily for probably over a year now. The recommended dosage is 2 scoops daily but I take only one scoop with my morning coffee. It has no taste whatsoever. Honestly, I haven’t noticed a difference in my skin or nails but with just the one daily scoop I have noticed a major difference in my hair. My hair is growing out long, thick and strong. There used to be clumps of hair in the drain after a wash, especially when I’d comb it out wet, and now there is literally no hair in the drain and minimal hairs after wet combing it. My hair would also shed lots when i’d dry comb it but now there are minimal hairs left in the comb. Again, I haven’t noticed any difference in my skin and nails, but to be fair, I have never had issues with my skin. I’m 44 and don’t have any wrinkles or face lines. My nails stay wrapped (powder manicure), so I haven’t seen a difference there, either. I’m pretty active, I work out with kettlebells and free weights 4 times per week and haven’t felt any joint pain. Not sure if that’s due to exercise or this powder. Either way, for the hair improvements alone, this powder is totally worth it for me. This is my honest opinion of this product, and I highly recommend it.

I've been taking the Collagen Peptides for 4 1/2 months now. I honestly can't say for sure if it's helped me at all. I'm 58 y/o, in good health. I am told I look significantly younger than my years. However, I've noticed the quality in my skin (hands, arms) starting to look crepy. So started taking the collagen on the hopes that I would see improvement. Nothing. Maybe may hair/nails look good. But that's about it. My joints I think feel better. I don't want to stop in case it may take longer. If I start to see improvement in that area I will check back in.

I am normally VERY skeptical of diet and beauty fads, but it's hard to ignore so many people I trust raving about VP's Collagen Peptides. That, coupled with the fact that my wedding was coming up within a year, made me pull the trigger to try some collagen peptides (long thick hair, strong nails, sign me up!) I started noticing a difference in my hair after a few months of taking 1 scoop a day in my coffee. WOW! I used to have super thick hair in high school, but when I hit my late 20's it started getting more brittle and not as thick. The past few months of taking collagen has completely changed that. My hair is breaking less, less is coming out in my hairbrush and my hair just feels so much thicker and healthier. Not to mention, it's growing like crazy - my hairdresser can't believe it. My nails having been stronger and peeling less (I wear nail polish constantly and keep my nails short, so it's hard to really assess the health of my nails - but they seem a lot thicker and less 'bendy').
