I always read the bad reviews first and my main concern was how full the container would be and would this dissolve in my coffee. The bottle comes with a marked "full" line then adds the typical warning "may settle...." sentence. My bottle appears to be above the full line. So horray for the settling while being shipped. Dissolving...again I did my research and read that if you put this in HOT liquid it should dissolve but colder liquids it seems to be a thickener. I used this in my HOT coffee this morning and it dissolved just fine. I put the product in first added coffee and stirred. There was no clumping, no gross taste and did it NOT change the flavor of my coffee. I have not tried this in my protein shake yet, but will be happy to edit this review once I do.

I have taken this for about 5 years and have really felt the benefits. I put it in my coffee every day. But since this new packaging, the product tastes old and gross. I don't think it is keeping it fresh. I really wish you would return to the old plastic tub and I now regret throwing mine out. I may have to switch to some other form of collagen as it is ruining my coffee.

My mom takes this to relieve her arthritis and joint pains after a day's household work. She notices the great difference when she is unable to take this when we fail to replenish our stock promptly. I'm almost done with my first tub of the collagen peptides, and I can assure you I will be repurchasing! I started with 1 scoop in my morning green smoothie just to ease this new product into my diet. I never experienced the belly disruption like other reviews mentioned. I've been using 2 scoops for the last few weeks, and have seen an improvement in my hair, skin, & nail growth and texture. There's no taste in the smoothie! I don't mind putting 1 scoop in 8 oz. of water and drinking that 2-3x/day. I wouldn't say the collagen peptides are completely tasteless when mixed in water, but the taste is minimal and I just drink the water quickly. I think I'll be trying the marine collagen next time--just for comparison and to try something different than the bovine product. But I really like this product and am satisfied with the results I'm seeing!

I was hesitant to try these for a long time cause I'm very lucky about the taste of my morning smoothie. I finally took the plunge and I can barely tell they are now part of my daily smoothie routine! And my nails are stronger than ever so I can already see some benefits within a couple weeks.

So, I bought into the collagen peptides craze and ordered matcha, gingerbread coffee creamer & 3 tubs of collagen peptides. I figured I would need to give them at least that amount of time (3 months) to reap the benefits. Boy was I wrong. I tried the coffee creamer immediately. I am not the biggest fan of gingery taste in general, but it was the only flavor available at the time so I gave it a shot. The taste is pretty strong, and definitely gingery, but the coffee gets that nice creamy texture and it keeps me satiated and energized for extra few hours between breakfast and lunch. I am currently waiting for coconut & vanilla to arrive and I already know I will LOVE them :) I also love the matcha. It gives me that added boost in the afternoon when I feel like I'm close to crashing. Please make it with vanilla flavor! :) As for the peptides, I have to say for a good month and a half those tubs were sitting on a shelf in my pantry-I just couldn't bring myself to put something that has a picture of bovine on it in my coffee :))) I just kept thinking no way this could be tasteless & odorless. I finally tried it two weeks ago and my first reactions were: a) WOW-no taste, no odor, just a touch of creaminess to my morning coffee which I loved and b) once I have my collagen peptides coffee-I can go and **** my workout and have my breakfast after it, which I couldn't do before. The third benefit is something I really didn't expect so fast, and i literally noticed the difference within a week-my skin is not dry anymore. Usually I would have to bathe in body moisturizer in order for my skin to be nice & smooth, but not only have I noticed a huge improvement, I actually STOPPED using body moisturizer about a week ago, and my skin feels AMAZING. I bought this a month ago, and I’m very disappointed in the consistency and taste. I had previously bought a container from Kroger and it mixed perfectly. The only difference I see is that this has added vitamin C. I can see and taste a difference from the other container, it clumps up into a gel like consistency. I will not be purchasing this again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After receiving this as a gift, I noticed that this product unfortunately uses a genetic Vitamin C which is listed as (Ascorbic Acid) I don't know why 90% of products claiming to have Vitamin C are the genetic kind which unlike natural Vitamin C can have negative side effects over time like vericose veins etc....TAKE THIS GENETIC CRAP OUT OF YOUR PRODUCT, people can get natural vitamin C from squeezing a lemon into their drink which has a HIGH concentration of Vitamin C and ALL natural!!! Check ALL products that say Vitamin C and if they list (Ascorbic Acid) right after the Vitamin C (due to required law) then you know it's the "GENETIC" Vitamin C and AVOID these products!
