I started taking this product as suggested by my doctor for gut health and as a bonus, it makes a big difference in how my skin, hair, and nails look and feel. I highly suggest mixing the collagen in a few ounces of warmer liquid to dissolve and then mixing it into ice old beverages. I like to add it to electrolytes and it's also great in broth, tea, or fruit infused water. I will sometimes prepare it before bed, refrigerate it and have it in the morning. By then it's completely dissolved and liquid is clear.

Have you changed your formula recently? It doesn't seem the same. I guess it mixes with my almond milk better...but I liked the thick consistency it had before in previous orders as it felt as if I was really getting the collagen. Now it just seems watery and like there's no collagen in it. Just wondering.

I find scoring around the lid with a knife, leaving 2 inches untouched opposite the pinch here writing, opens and closes easily. The lid remains attached. I also left the inside seal half open to make it easy to scrape to level off my scooper. I would rather have this container with no scooper vs. a plastic container with a scooper if it saves me money by still providing a quality product. This collagen is $15 cheaper than my favorite brand. The description of the ingredients and sources appear the same. The only difference I notice is my favorite brand makes my coffee creamier. Not worth paying $15 more for. Also, this brand dissolves quicker without lumping. As far as being effective compared to my favorite brand, I haven't noticed anything different so far. I hope this product will work out to have the same effectiveness. Being on a fixed income, every dollar saved counts. Saving money buying this product is a win if it has the same results.

I would have loved to seen a difference in my nails and skin, but I don't. Nails are more brittle and break easily. Skin is just the same. Joints hurt more than ever, especially my hands and I am noticing my hair is dull. I have been using this in my coffee, every morning, since April. I also find that one rounded scoop a day lasts longer than the 6 week period for sending out the product that I chose.

I ordered two different collagen products. My daughter and i tried Vital Proteins first as it had the additional Vit C and HAcid suppplements. It had supior mixing into our morning coffees. I noticed an improvement in my facial skin texture before I finished my first bottle and the additional bennefit that it helped sustain my appetite as I am practicing intermittant fasting. No effect on the taste of my brewed coffee

I purchased my first canister of vital proteins about a month ago and was excited to try it since I have very crackly knees and joints. The product had a great review and was affordable so I was hoping it would work for me as it had everyone else. Upon receiving my order I tried to mix one scoop with a bottle of water. The powder just clumped up like slime on the bottom of my bottle. I read into it and some people had similar problems and had tried mixing it in their coffee since that was hot. I tried this the next morning and still got the same result with it not mixing in. My final attempt was mixing it in with my protein shakes that I make each morning with my ninja. Again the same problem it just clumps up. While I do understand how collagen works, I was hoping I could find at least one thing this could mix into. I even tried looking at their FAQ’s page and there was no question pertaining to this problem. Very disappointed and hesitant other products may be the same. Aside from that the taste was very tolerable, packaging was nice, and shipping was very quick.

Idk if it’s cause I’m new at taking this but This product made my skin breakout. I am 34 years old and have never suffered from acne. This is the only new product I am using. I don’t see a change when it comes to good benefits. Made my stomach hurt, bloated and embarrassing to say but it made me gassy. Painful gassy. I really really wanted to love this product.

I’ve been using this for almost a year now... I put in my coffee daily or in a smoothie. Has no taste, which is great and I really believe that it has helped my hair grow! I have tried many things to help my hair grow faster, but I truly do believe this was the missing piece. Will continue to use!!!!

I take 2 scoops in my coffee most days, and I love the fact that I get 18g protein easily. It's unflavored, but I can tell it's in my coffee (very slight taste, nothing off-putting). I've seen a difference in my nails so far - I've only been taking it consistently for about 6-8 weeks. I recommend!

I have been using this for about a month.. tbh I'm not sure if I've experienced any positive results yet. It tastes awful in water (which shouldn't be surprising), but I don't notice it at all in my tea! It's become an easy part of my morning routine, and I will continue to use it as an easy way to get extra protein in my diet. Hopefully I will notice some more positive benefits soon :).
