I've been using collagen for about a year, and this is the third brand I've tried. Vital Proteins is unique in that it actually delivers--my nails are stronger, my skin is brighter and my blemishes are disappearing, and--while I'm not yet in my 30s--I'd had a little bit of joint pain in my knees which has TOTALLY stopped since taking collagen peptides. I subscribe to the 20 pack of portable sticks and use one a day in my morning coffee with some MCT powder (and sometimes butter!). I LOVE it and will continue to use--I even got my barista to try some because he kept asking what I was pouring into my coffee ;) I am actually getting compliments on my skin, and it feels so wonderful!

Collagen has become part of my daily routine, every morning 2 scoops in my coffee. Keeps me feeling great and energized until lunch. The mornings I don't have it (because I forgot to reorder in time ) I definitely can notice a difference in my energy levels. My hair and nails are also stronger and growing faster and longer and my skin has never been clearer

I’ve been adding this to tea so far so maybe that’s the issue, but there is definitely a strong taste and odor to this. I’ll continue taking it and see if it works better with other beverages. I just wanted to let anyone who may be reading the reviews know ahead of time so that you’re not thrown off.

I’ve been using this product for many years. I hate the new packaging totally stinks and I dislike that they took away the scoops! I used my same scoop as the one in previous packaging and the amount per servings is not as listed in the packaging. Seems like they are cheating consumers out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I put this in everything from coffee to smoothies and it fantastic! I love knowing that it does so much good for me in many different ways yet doesn’t affect the taste of the things I love to drink. It’s fantastic and I can’t imagine going a day without it!

I wanted to love it, but it just did not agree with my system. It also suppressed my appetite way too much, but for some that might be a good thing. I was only taking 1/2 the daily recommended dose. I tried the Collagen Peptides and the Lavender Lemon beauty water, neither agreed with me.

I love the product and the plastic containers are the best! I have 6 of them now! Why doesn't this great company offer the product in a paper - maybe wax-coated bag instead of a container that may get recycled but probably won't? I know my city doesn't recycle plastics (they collect it though). Please help reduce the plastics & at least use something easier to recycle! Why not paper or bamboo?

I have been a loyal customer for over six years, and now that you have added ascorbic acid and hyaluronic acid I can no longer buy your product. I am SO disappointed. When this was ONE simple ingredient it was one of the only safe protein powders on the market for people who have allergies and sensitivities to corn. It was repeatedly recommended in all of the corn allergy groups (over 10,000 members). Now this product could cause anaphylaxis and other health issues for people in this community. I am so disappointed. You have just lost a piece of your market by adding these ingredients, and I beg you to reconsider and go back to having ONE high quality ingredient. Simplicity in food products = more accessibility. Why mess with that? Sincerely, One very sad former customer.

You can see the distinct differences clearly by carefully reading the two labels side by side. “Original” and “Advanced” 1. Color has changed. This formula is pure white unlike the original that has brown speckles throughout. 2. The “Original” formula that I ordered has the Amino Acid Profile listed on the label. This “Advanced” formula does not. Why is this now missing on the “Advanced” label? 3. The “Original” formulation is Kosher, this “Advanced” formula is not! 4. The “Original” formulation is Whole Thirty approved. This “Advanced” formula is not. 5. The “Original” formula label reads “Dairy FREE” and “Gluten FREE”. The Advanced formula label reads “Made without Dairy” and “Made without Gluten”indicating possible cross contamination with the “new” manufacturing process?? This new “Advanced” formula is not what I ordered and not what I need. If I cannot continue to get the “Original” formula, I will be canceling my subscription and I definitely want a refund for the “Advanced” formula version I just received today.

After trying another brand for a few months,I decided to give VP a try & so glad I did.After gastric bypass & the initial hair loss I accepted my hair would never be the same,but thanks to VP it's growing & feels fuller.My nails are growing longer & stronger .It's amazing. Noone thinks I'm 53 either
