I had been taking vitamin hair supplements for a couple of years and really did not see any improvement. My girlfriend told me about Collagen Peptides but I really didn't take her seriously. It's been 1 month now that I take 2 scoops with my favorite hot liquids, I prefer hot than cold liquids otherwise I find the powder get's clumpy. What made me a believer is I've had a split middle finger nail for a couple of years. My doctor told me to start taking calcium and with no luck. My nail continue to grow and split. I use collagen every morning in my meal replacement shakes to help with my hair and nails. I bought this product after seeing SO many thought leaders in the wellness arena using it on social media. I've been very happy so far - I'm about 2 weeks in! Disappointed in this product. It tastes horrible and does not mix well at all. I have tried it in my coffee (which it ruins), then I tried to suck it up and drink it just mixed with water (brutal), and I have tried putting it in smoothies but it does not mix at all.

All my life I had weak nails and could never get them to grow long. Really easy to break. Now that I've incorporated collagen into my daily routine I am floored at how long and strong my nails have gotten!!! I have to file them down regularly so they don't hinder my day to day activities. This flavorless powder is so easy to add to everything and doesn't affect the taste at all.

I initially bought this from a third party seller. It had a strong not-too-pleasant taste and was difficult to mix in to anything but super hot liquids. I decided to go through Vital Proteins directly since this product is supposed to be unflavored and dissolvable. I have the same issues. The only way to not taste is it to put it in smoothies— however it remains chunky and most of is sticks to the side of the blender cup. I do feel like it’s beneficial to my health overall, but I’m getting annoyed with sticky white residue everywhere

I love adding these collagen peptides to coffee to get my morning started with an easy 18g of protein, but I didn't realize how quickly I was going through the container! Fortunately, their subscription service sends a new one right on time each month and, being in the midwest, ships so fast. Love this company!
