Poor quality and app interfacing

Don't rely on it for reliably accessing any streaming apps without failing within 5 minutes and causing endless frustrations. Finally bought a Roku to avoid throwing this tv away and investing in a more reliable brand. As well, Samsung basically requires an account sign up to use the tv. Unnecessary and beyond frustrating to have so many loopholes just to watch tv

More than what I wanted

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This TV is everything I needed from a TV and then some. First of all it is light, sleek, and have a slim profile all around. We used our existing TV mount and just bought some longer screws for this TV. It was quick and easy to setup and start using. We have our uverse tv and bluray hooked up to it and it acts as a universal remote. I was so sure to see that we had free channels through Samsung TV! Although they aren't in HD, the kids weren't complaining so we're seriously considering getting rid of our TV service. We loved that we are now able to watch Disney + content because the app is supported by the TV. The only complaint I have is that I wish the cable ports were on the side of the TV, instead of the back. It may it challenging if you ever need to switch things around.

Nope

after turning off tv next day has disconnected from wifi, did software update, no change.switched to roku which stays connected to wifi. has serious lag when watching football.had zero issues with previous tv while streaming live tv. really regret buying this tv. have owned it less than a month,will be returned.

You may want to go through these steps to check your network connection: 1) Check the distance between the TV and your modem or access point. The distance should not exceed 50 ft. (15.2 m). 2) Minimize interference by not using or turning off wireless devices. Also, verify that there are no obstacles between the TV and the modem or access point. (WiFi strength can be decreased by appliances, cordless phones, stone walls/fireplaces, etc.) 3) Perform a network test to check if there is a network problem. Press the Home button on your remote. Navigate to Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis> Smart Hub Connection Test 4) Try a cold reboot of your TV by pressing and holding the power button for 5+ seconds until the TV turns off and on again. 5) Please also be sure you have the latest firmware update. You may want to enable automatic updates for convenience. Select Settings > Support > Software Update, then select Auto Update. You may also want to optimize the smart TV performance by running the Device Care option under the Support Menu. Go to Settings > Support> Device Care > Start Device Care This service checks memory and frees up unused cached memory and closes background apps. Don't Bother Buying This

this was the most disappointing tv purchase i ever made. it has an auto uhd to game mode for when you connect tge ps4 that was annoying and difficult to navigate turning it on/off. the app the tv suggests you to downloaf doesnt work on iphones. setting up the apps on the smart tv was non existent, as in didnt allow me to log in. i wish samsung made non smart tvs. because i havent had a satisfying samsung smart tv, ever. until samsung provides the choice to buy a non smart tv, i will never buy another samsung product

The SmartThings app is compatible with iPhones. From your TV, you can monitor and configure smart devices you connected to the SmartThings service via the SmartThings app installed on them. You can receive notifications about the statuses of your connected devices. You must first be logged into your Samsung account. 1) Turn on your TV 2) Open the SmartThings app 3) Tap Add (the plus icon), and then tap Device. 4) Under By device type, tap TV, and then tap Samsung 5) Tap Start, select a location and room, and then tap Next 6) Input the PIN shown on the TV screen into the phone, and tap Done If you are unable to download apps to your TU7000 TV. Please try the following troubleshooting steps: Go to Settings > Support> Device Care > Start Device Care. This service checks memory and frees up unused cached memory and closes background apps if any. We also suggest you check your internet connection: 1. Use 5G WiFi if possible 2. Frustrating to use

The picture is great. I find it difficult to navigate the options and find what I am looking for. The internet option does not work as I expected. Also, I can't use the internet option to watch CBC Gem or CTV online. I get to a certain point, and it goes back to a previous screen. I use a Roku stick to watch Prime and BritBox with no problems.

Great TV, Horrible User Interface

the tv itself is fantastic. great picture quality. but the user experience is awful. i've been an appletv user for far too long and the remote control, apps and ui are horrific. the most annoying feature is the samsung tv feature which seems to force one of their random channels on you. the built in apps can't be removed. i ended up deleting as many apps as i could and logged out of the samsung features. that seemed to help dumb things down a bit. occasionally the tv says my appletv has powered off, but it hasnt. when you set a sleep timer it doesn't take into account that you have an active stream from the appletv so you have to scramble for the remote.

Disappointed product

terrible product. i am very disappointed, for the cost i pay i have gotten a much lower than expected performance, the main menu interface is very slow, the crystal processor does not give you any different experience than other cheaper brands, its resolution of 4k display is nothing exciting. it is a good product, but for the cost and the brand it should be something special and it is not.

Quality

my husband and i bought this tv brand new have a similar tv still working from 2003. however, the quality of the screen is absolutely horrible. if you have kids, watch out for them touching it or anything that barely touches the tv! the screen of ours was cracked entirely from the inside due to the remote accidently being tossed to it. which is crazy if you have a toy or something that could barley knock the tv, its done. our old samsung 2003 tv survives everything. wish they made more tv's like the old days with more to handle. everything nowadays is so thin and cheaply made. very disappointed that we have to get a brand new tv because warranty doesn't cover it, know we wont be getting this tv.

Great picture quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung 65 in crystal UHD TV has such a nice clear picture quality and will adjust as needed to get best screen quality. I do like the legs on this since it gives it a sturdy structure to hold it without the worry of it tipping over. Setup was extremely easy to do which is always a plus for me. I do like that i did not need to download apps since they are already on there. This tv is great for more than watching your favorite shows, this is great for gaming as well as streaming. Im very pleased with the quality and sound.

Deeply aggravating

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) The TV picture is great. The remote that controls it is small, crowded and extremely difficult to use. I don't know how often I've cursed pushing the wrong button which interrupts viewing. If I could replace it with something better I would. As noted above, this key feature of the product is deeply aggravating.
