Decent TV for the money

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had the TU7000 for a few weeks now and, in general, the TV has served my needs for a great price. It replaced a first-gen flat screen TV that was half as big and cost three-times as much 10 years ago. The TU7000 is a good budget TV. It's has a good clear picture and it is nice to have access to online streaming platforms native to the smart TV interface. However, it is difficult to see REALLY dark movie scenes and the app could be more user friendly. Overall, I'm please with the purchase so far and would recommend it to a friend.

Look for the QLED Samsung instead.

Purchased the Samsung UN65TU7000FXZA 65 in. 4K Crystal UHD TV. Had it a couple months now and overall it's just okay. For the cost of this t.v. I would recommend a QLED 4K Samsung instead or Sony 4K uhd. Read other reviews! Pros: The size is true to screen. The screen is very close to the edges and that is a nice feature. Connectivity easy enough for all ages. Setup is fairly simple for WiFi or wired. Pretty lightweight and easy to move around. The Sound quality is decent. Neg: Remote buttons are too close together. Big, To many buttons as well. The legs are too far apart. Needs a center stand. Sounds okay but needs a sound bar. Then it's nice when paired with the TV. Ports; needs 2 usb, 3 hdmi and most importantly needs to not be in a recessed small square as it's preventing a lot of devices from connecting to them without a flexible extension cable. “Picture” difficult to get the settings right. After about 3 weeks I finally got it as close as I can but still have yet to get the picture right! It's either jittery, fuzzy, blurry or cloudy and back in forth between all of the above. Movies you can get almost spot on unless it's action ones. Sports or any flick with a lot of action you will have to readjust settings again to see it more clearly. No matter how many times I've tried to change the settings including resetting and not changing almost anything it always has a slight cloudiness, or fuzziness, or blurry ness and it just never stays at where it should. I am a huge sports fan and part time gamer. Hundreds of reviews and videos on how to get the settings close as you can and I would recommend you look them up. If you are a sports fanatic or gamer as well I would go QLED Samsung as it's highly recommended for both uses. This is a decent spare room TV as I recommend looking for their slightly higher end Tv's for main living area.

First, let's ensure you are running the latest Firmware. Go to Settings> Support> Software Update. For optimal motion image performance, you may want to adjust the picture clarity setting by going to Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > Picture Clarity Settings. - Off: Picture Clarity Settings will always be off - Auto: Picture Clarity Settings will automatically activate and deactivate based on the type of program being watched - Custom: Allows custom adjustments and settings to be used. By selecting the Custom option, you can access these advanced settings for Judder Reduction, LED Clear Motion, and Noise Reduction. It's also possible the issue may be due to not connecting correctly with an external device. Please check your connection with these steps: 1. Disconnect and reconnect the power cables and HDMI cables on the back of your TV, then unplug the power cord and plug it back into the wall outlet. 2. If the external device supports UHD video, use a dedicated HDMI cable (4K) for HDMI video playback. 3. If a component cable is used, make sure that the colored connectors are connected to the matching connectors on the external device and the TV. 4. Check the cable connection if you use a set-top box. The cable you need to check depends on the type of set-top box. 5. Make sure that your access point is connected to the Internet. If not, disconnecting and reconnecting its power cable may be required. 6. If the problem persists, check the video output settings in the settings menu of the external device, and ensure that your TV supports the video output mode. Please note that the compression of video content may cause picture distortions, especially in fast-moving pictures from sports programs and action movies. - If the signal reception is weak or poor, screen distortion may be visible, but it is not a malfunction. - Mobile phones used close to the TV (within 3.2 ft) may cause noise on analog and digital channels. I love Samsung tv's

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have all of my TVs as Samsungs! The TU7000 and TU8000 work amazingly well! I really don't have any complaints except that you need to change the dns over to googles dns in the settings or you may experience network issues but that is no big deal! The color and the picture are beautiful .. the 4th tv I have of Samsun is 12 years old and it's still working fine to this day! I will always buy a Samsung tv!

Smart tv- hardly

the software on this tv is so bad. operating this tv is a frustrating event each and every time. 1. “smart” feature which is supposed to return to last viewed app does not work, has never worked. it defaults to samsung content or sponsored content. i removed the samsung channel but cannot removed the sponsored content. 2. i am not allowed access to change picture size. there is text there but it is faded and will not let me use it. great idea, samsung!!! 3. device care not always available. many times it is faded and i cannot access. great idea samsung!!! 4. this software is poorly thought out and weak.

Great TV for the price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a GREAT TV for the Price. Very Clear 4K, and the Apps work great, except for a few apps that crash occasionally. The Samsung TV App is Awesome. The only Issue I have is that there is a shadow that completely covers 1/3 of an inch all the way around. The Bezel may be the cause, or the way the back light is set, not sure.

This product has excellent accessibility!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product has several key features that make it a great purchase for those with Accessibility needs. The first feature that is completely unexpected is the ability to enable narration of the text menus in the settings. Being someone who is visually impaired I really appreciated this feature a lot. this feature in hand with the ability to enlarge the menu font size make this TV a excellent choice for those with visual impairments. The ability to customize almost every aspect of the picture quality to tailor for the individual needs of those with visual challenges. The clarity of the picture is excellent. Crisp fonts that make readability very easy. The viewing angle allows for you to be almost anywhere in the room and have the same viewing clarity as others. The colors come through with a vivid vibrancy making them easy on the eyes. I highly recommend this television for those with Accessibility needs.

This product has improved our quality of life!

Great TV- Not enough HDMI

Samsung smart TV, is the only brand TV in my house

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We bought several TVs in my house, all of them are Samsung brand, not long ago I bought the 50” Crystal UHD 4 k smart TV, TU 7000, the picture is really clear, the sound, picture and color all are the best. Love it!

Flawed but a good TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tv has been really good to use for the most part. Picture quality is great. No burn in from gaming several hours and bright. The only issue i have is the streaming apps buffer on the tv unless i unplug the tv and plug it back in then the streaming apps work fine.
