Excellent quality

Sure there are more expensive models with better image quality but unless they are side by side youre never going to notice. I play my PS4 through the tv as well and I love the automatic game on sensor to enhance the image. I also love the Tyzen operating system with all the apps and the 100+ free channels of Samsung TV. Its easy to add new apps and update the TV's software. I've had this TV now for 6 months and absolutely love it. I have had no issues or problems with it and would definitely recommend it!

Best TV for the price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you are not able/willing to make the jump to OLED or QLED this is the best TV in this price point on the market. The user interface and software OS is fantastic, and the picture is great for this range of product. You will see haze around light objects on dark screens but it's minimal, and should be expected. The picture does blur a little during fast moving scenes, but that's also to be expected due to the level of product. I'm using mine in a well lit room during the day, and a dark room as the day/night transition happens. The product handles this well. Enjoy!

Good and Bad

Overall happy but needed a wider stand to put the TV on due to the distance between the legs. My previous set had a center mounting stand that was stable. This set has only 2 HDMI inputs which is a shortfall. Also, no Bluetooth capabilities with out purchasing a separate system. Good picture, but less than adequate volume from the cable system. Only a 1 year warranty that was less than most competition.

Sound guide problem

we purchased the tu7000 65” in november. everything worked just great until a month ago when the sound went out. we got it back but the annoying sound guide went on with it. we have checked settings and it shows the sound guide is off- but it is not. then yesterday when i went to the netflix app, there is no sound for 3-4 minutes. sound issues seem to get worse all along. does samsung stand by their products when something like this happens? please advise. thank you.

Great picture at any angle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love westerns, sports and documentaries also the News. This TV has more free apps that I've ever seen. I am hooked on Samsung TV. That's one of the free apps and it is loaded with channels. For once, I feel like I got my money's worth.

Not the best tv I've purchased

i purchased the samsung tu7000 when one of my children threw a tennis ball which hit the screen of my beautiful lg. loved that tv. i needed to get a tv that day, so i rushed out and bought this one. i bought too quickly, and i must admit that the low price was attractive. now i know why it was so cheap. each time i turn it on the color is faded, so i need to reset the picture. it's annoying. at first i thought it might be a minor glitch, but it must be adjusted each time you turn it on. i thought it might need a software upgrade, but nope, it says that its up to date. i didn't do enough research on the tv; found out later that it was a 2020 model, so i screwed up. you get what you pay for. i won't buy samsung again.

Hi Rio L, Thank you for your feedback on the Samsung TU7000 TV's picture quality. Please try the following troubleshooting tips to prevent your TV from reverting to the previous picture settings. You can change the dimming feature of your TU7000 TV by adjusting some of the energy efficiency features designed to reduce power consumption. The Eco sensor automatically adjusts the brightness level of the TV according to the ambient light level. If the Eco Sensor has changed the screen's brightness level, you can select Min. Backlight to manually adjust the minimum screen brightness. You can also disable these features for a steady brightness setting. You can adjust Brightness Optimization, Brightness Reduction, Motion Lighting, or Contrast Enhancer by going to Settings > General > Power and Energy Saving > and adjusting the Brightness Optimization, Brightness Reduction, and Motion Lighting. Next, let's make sure your TV is on Home Mode. Please do so by heading to Settings>General>System Manager>Usage Mode>Enter Pin>Click "Home Mode." If these settings do not prevent your TV from changing Picture Settings, please allow us to make this right by contacting us at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8 AM - 12 AM EST, seven days a week. HDR is awful

the tv is fine as long as you are not watching hdr content. the screen gets so dim you can hardly see anything on dark scenes, and tweaking the picture settings ends up in a greyed dark image, but still hard to see, and there is no way you can deactivate the hdr for native apps. also, i have been waiting for a firmwarw update, and just noticed the whole planet has an upgrade for 2013.3 version except for the usa. poor tv, and poor samsung support.

New Samsung

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family has been buying the Samsung brand for as long as we have been a family. We currently have 5 Samsung TV's. We bought the latest one to replace a previous Samsung Smart TV. The old Samsung is still in use out in the patio under cover to watch games while grilling out. The new Samsung is so much faster and smarter than the previous so their tech has come a long way. The picture is amazing, it is so lifelike that I can see the actor's defects like small scars and acne. Not totally sure if this is a good thing! LOL But seriously the picture is phenomenal and I would HIGHLY recommend to anyone searching for a great TV at a great price. Truly a great value for every dollar spent. Thanks Samsung

Great Image Color

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love everything about this TV. So thankful that we got selected to purchase this TV at a discounted price, test it and ultimately keep it. We were so ready for an update to a flat screen TV vs a tube TV, and so much lighter to move. The one thing I can really say WOW about is the picture quality of the Samsung. It's so crisp and bright. There is no lag in the picture. No matter what type of lighting in the house, you always get good sharp images. The sound is great. You barely need to put up the volume to get sounds like being in the movies...bass.

Great picture, but connectivety is horrible

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the picture is great for this tv, but watching hulu was almost impossible and a lot of buffering for netflix. we have three other tv's around the house and they dont have these issues and this tv is in the same room as the router.
