Worked Great For About 3 Years

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first Samsung flat screen I purchased in 2007 was a workhorse. Not a problem over years of use. In 2018, I decided to upgrade and bought a new 50" Samsung. Worked great until last summer (2021). It started to get dark gray/black banding that moved to different locations across the screen until the banding finally settled on each edge of the screen. So now, I basically have a vertically letterboxed screen. If it's happening on the edges of the screen, I can't see it. How nice. And the thing is, it's not quite to the level of annoying to make me get rid of it, but some day I'll probably release it to the forces of gravity and chuck it from my 23rd floor window. (And if there's an easy fix I don't know about, I'd sure love to know it.) I doubt you'll publish this, but you did ask for a review. So here we are.

First, let's make sure your firmware is up to date. To do so, head to Settings > Support > Software Update. From there, you can easily update if needed. 1. Run a Picture Test on the TV. Navigate to Settings, select Device Care, and then select Self Diagnosis. Select Picture Test, select OK and then view the test. You can choose Yes if the picture looks normal, No if there is a problem with the picture, or Show again to see the image a second time. 2. Determine if lines are appearing during the Picture Test. Look for a lines or screen abnormalities on the screen during the Picture Test. If there are no issues, this means your TV is working fine. To identify and fix the issue, try replacing the cable of the external device that is showing abnormalities. - If the abnormalities still appear after replacing the cable, troubleshoot the external device. - If abnormalities appear during the Picture Test, proceed to the next step. 3. Request service if abnormalities appear during the Picture Test. Please visit our Support Center to request service if you see lines during the Picture Test. Modern UptoDate TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very satisfied with this product. It has withstood power outages, hours upon hours of gameplay/ binge watching series and its accessibility to control it seamlessly on my phone is the cherry on top. I can turn on/off the tv from any room in the house without the need of being near the tv at all and switch from whichever mode I'd like whether it's local channels, different applications and game console use. It's been a few months since we purchased this product and we have no complaints so far. Will definitely keep buying these products in the future!

Samsung can take my money!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Okay.. so I just wanna make this quick and simple since I know y'all have a bunch of reviews to go through BUT all I can say about this TV after owning it for a couple of months now is that everything is RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU! From channels, apps, programs and other features this things has is completely off the top. I was flabbergasted when I found out I can download apps on here lol but overall it's 10/10 would recommend for sure to someone if they ever need a TV.

Good TV so far but not the POP that had hoped for

Had this TV for a few weeks now. It was an easy set up but the picture quality is no better than our 48” ten year old Samsung. The remote is poorly designed (impossible to use in no or low light - it does not light up when used.) On the whole, it is an okay TV. I should have shopped more. My bad!

Great features and picture quality.

Is it quiet in here or is it just me

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the TV for my wife so she might be able to understand television due to her be deaf in one year and about 3/4 deaf in the other. We don't even have a very large bedroom but the audio from the television was almost unbearable to watch even with captions it sounded like everybody was talking with a sock over their head now once I sink the Bluetooth bar to it the issue was resolved. Did enjoy the Bluetooth dual audio that actually worked great

All around awesome Tv

Options & settings

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just love the instant game mode feature on the tv...allows for the low latency settings to automatically activate as the game is turned on.. connecting Bluetooth speaker is also a plus..would be nice if there were more compatible apps to install..Oh one more thing the touch share view between Samsung phone & tv is a neat addition..

Fantastic secondary options for the guest

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've purchased several of these tv for my offices and guest room and for just the TV alone you are getting a lot of action with the OS.. This is the only smart tv I've found to work alone without the need to reach out to 3rd party device to gain access to application and your favorite streaming service this tv has it, O and did I mention Samsung Plus, the tv function once connected to the web with Samsung plus which has done a really good job with providing a wonderful selection of live tv for "FREE". The 4k abilities are on point as well when watching 4k content with deep blacks an blues really crisp image quality.
