Does the job
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This replaced a working LG tv, although it is much bigger. I find the color is a bit off. The Power and Energy Saving is a nice feature, but it does not get to a low enough brightness. I find it is still too bright especially for night viewing. The biggest issue I have is the remote control. I always have to turn on a lamp to push the correct buttons because it has no light. How do you spend that much money for a mediocre remote control? I have hit the wrong button many times, partly because the buttons at the bottom of the remote are too small. The special buttons for Netflix and Prime and Samsung TV are useless and take up too much room on the remote.
btsworldwide: Thank you for purchasing the TU7000 TV and for your review. I am sorry to hear that you are not happy with the brightness levels of your picture. If the colors on your TV are correct but just a little too dark or bright you can try the different Picture Modes or manually adjust the Brightness settings to your liking. Dynamic Picture Mode will make pictures brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments. Go to: Settings > Picture > Picture Mode > Dynamic Or manually adjust the Brightness and other settings to your liking. Press the HOME button on your remote, then navigate to: Settings > Picture > Expert Settings You may also want to disable Power Saving Mode which automatically adjusts the brightness to reduce the TV’s power consumption. Go to Settings> General> Eco Solution> Power Saving Mode. Ambient Light Detection will also automatically adjust the brightness level of the TV, according to the ambient light level, to reduce power consumption. If Ambient Light Detection has adjusted the screen brightness to a too bright or dark level, you can select Minimum Brightness to manually adjust the minimum screen brightness. Go to Settings> General> Eco Solution> Ambient Light Detection Please also be sure you are running the latest firmware. You can check to see what software version your TV is using and if there is an available update through the settings on your TV. Go to: Settings>Support>Software Update. You may want to enable automatic updates for convenience. Select Settings > Support > Software Update, then select Auto Update. I hope this helps to improve your picture. Overall, great TV
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first smart TV and I have been very impressed with it since I have had it. Prior to getting this TV I relied on Amazon's first stick to access all of my streaming services, but often run into issues as the first stick can be slow or buggy. I have never had an issue wirh this TV being slow or lagging in any way. It was also incredibly easy to download and use all all my currently used streaming services. The only complaint I have about thr device is that after about a month of owning it, there is a brief vertical black bar that occasionally flashes just left of the middle of the screen. This was unusual as the TV has never been damaged or bumped by anything. The bar only occasionally flashes and has not been a bother to me, but it is noticeable. It only flashes for a split second then goes away. Other than the minor flaw, I have never had any issues with the TV and do want to upgrade to a larger model. I currently use it for streaming and gaming. I do like being able to use and adjust HDR settings within a game and i have been very impressed with the automatic game mode within the TV as well.
Excellent picture quality at a Great price!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased my 58" Samsung UHD TV to replace a 15 year old Panasonic Plasma. The picture quality is outstanding and price cna't be beat! The slim sleek style of the TV is a nice change from the old bulky think that once hung there.
Value
this tv is perfect for the price. it has a great picture. however i have found some issues with it detecting wifi internet. i have owned this tv for a little over one year and i am only capable of accessing the internet features of this tv using a cat cable directly plugged in. other than that the tv is great for the money!

Quality
overall i am happy so far. i have only had the tv for 2 weeks. i dont like the remote. it is confusing. i dont like the “samsung tv app”. there is nothing on those channels worth watching. i dontlike the fact i cannot delete that app. the picture, sound and quality are good.
Remote Control is awful
the remote is laid out terribly. a remote is normally a one handed device but because of the way samsung configured their remote it takes two hands to use it. samsung put the directional buttons way down near the palm of your hand so i would have to use my left to use the directional buttons. it is not intuitive at all. i had to change my remote to a roku device. the tv is not as clear as i expected but now i have a better remote
Good for the money
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the television but the remote needs to be more user friendly with bigger letters/numbers as us older people can't see well, and it's difficult to find the HUB and go from one app to the next sometimes. I do like the picture but some times it will flicker.
First 4K TV
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was in the market for a 4K Ultra HDTV that would not break the budget and also wanted to try out a Samsung TV for once. I saw many reviews that told me to avoid this TV but I am glad I did not pay much attention to them. I have had this TV for over a year and have primarily used it for gaming. The lag is almost non-existent but there is some. Most content (even SD looks crisp thanks to Samsung's 4K upscale) Compared to my other 4K TV, I noticed this model actually has colors that "pop" more and richer darks. Another plus is how easy it is to just tap my phone on the side using SMARTERTHINGS app on my Z Flip 3 to mirror my phone/ cast content. The TV smart apps are honestly too slow and I instead rely on other devices, but that's ok. Sound is average. I have the volume on clear and it makes voices louder/easier to hear. When I hook up a soundbar however, there is SERIOUS delay with Dolby Digital so be warned. I have tweaked the settings to reduce it with the setting menu but it doesn't really help, so instead I just switched to Stereo or PCM . A little annoying but I can live with it. after about nine months, I noticed a RINGING SOUND when the TV is turned on and no content is playing. I hope this doesn't affect it later down the line, but I don't notice it as I watch anything but it is slightly there. Also when turning the TV on, there seems to be a fan inside because there is a low hum near the ports and vents that sounds electrical but goes away after 5 minutes or so.
So happy I chose this TV
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Movie nite hasn't been better than it is now. The picture is so clear and graphics are wonderful. I was on a budget but I'm very satisfied. I debated between Crystal UHD and the QLED but really couldn't afford the price of the QLED, but so satisfied with the UHD.
Great TV would buy again
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The TV picture is great , has built in apps and u can install virtually any other app you want . Negative:the tv developed a line on bottom of screen. I had to call support for service Positive : they walked me thru diagnostics and determined it need a repair tech . He came within 2 days exactly on time , changed screen and it's been perfect . Overall I would grade tv 9 out of 10
