Once it does, it actually allows me to use the smart remote as a controller for my system as well! Really good responsiveness too. It broke me away from the idea that the older smart tv's put into my mind like laggy inputs and sloppy UI. Glad to buy will probably buy again!

I have a different smart tv and I had to purchase a streaming device on top of having the smart tv because it barely gets any apps but the Samsung tv gets everything AND has an amazingly clear picture as well. The one thing it is missing is capability with HBO Max but I know there are several platforms that don't support HBO Max.

i didn't expect this model to look as good as a quantum dot tv, and especially not anywhere near as good as an oled, but i did think it would be an improvement on my old 1080p tv from a lesser brand. sadly, it isn't. if my family looks at the tv fairly straight on, the picture is okay, but if anyone is off too far on the side, it gets considerably more washed-out. bright content looks pretty vibrant on the tv, but dark content, especially in movies, looks terrible. large black areas look splotchy and take over sections of the screen, even with movie mode on. any, yes, i have updated the firmware. picture aside, it has only two hdmi ports, and one is taken up if you use an arc soundbar. really, samsung?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Smart TV with many free streaming channels. Colors are great. Blacks are not ideal. I can connect and stream from my Samsung mobile devices. I can use my Samsung phone as a remote. I can also stream from my iphone with an add-on app.

I bought this set in late Oct, 2022 after a different quality brand 40” set we'd had for about 12 years began acting up in ways we couldn't any clues to addressin on the net. As well, my wife is a heavy TV watcher so the set likely had more like 15 yrs use, and the last year, due to an illness limiting her activities, has had it on except when sleeping… so it was time. Because we have a fairly small house, I didn't want more than a 50” screen because it'd be a challenge to fit it in livingroom, and this was the only one that size the store had. And looking online, others meant a wait to get and most were double the price. I checked the reviews, looked good, bought it. The automatic setup worked like a charm, zero problems, except it didn't recognize a Bose sound bar that needed to be connected by cable. I had commitments so told my wife I'd tackle that next day…. The connectin pin on bar was rather odd shape, lighting was awkward for me to see well, but after gently twisting and turning end trying to get it to seat, it did and the volume almost blasted us out of the room…. As my wife was lowering the volume I just smiled and said: “I think it's working now!” She been thrilled with it ever since, the picture is excellent even for a lower price model. I'm impressed. And just days ago I acquired an Apple Watch with wifi and Bluetooth, no cellular, and it I don't know if it was the tv or the watch, but together they not only recognized each other, they paired themselves without me asking. It's a no-fuss experience despite having lots of tech that could create nightmares until figuring out what's up…. Been there, done that in the past and appreciate the progress!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) The set-up was frustrating to even the online chat person. I kept getting caught up in loops in signing up for a Samsung Account. Many of the questions were too technical for my 60 year-old brain. For two hours it didn't recognize the model of my Roger's Cable box and then et viola, it clicked in. How that happened I have no idea. I was ready to return it the next day.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tv has a very clear and vibrant picture. It was very easy to set up, but it is a hit heavy so it required two people. There are plenty of apps preinstalled and I also love that the remote has some preset app shortcuts of it's own. Theres only 2 hdmi hookups but that wasnt a issue for me. Another thing I like is that it has molding for the cable to run into to create a neater space. Due to the way the coax is set up it was hard to get my coax cable screwed into the port. This is also the first tv I've seen have a list of free tv shows and movies you can choose from. Overall it is a great product at a great price.

i really like this tv. it came well packaged, was easy to setup with another persons help, and the integrated smart technology is excellent. it easily replaced three other remote controls in my home with no hassle at all. the picture is amazing and well worth the low price i paid for it

The remote numbers are worn off but the tv still works so we keep buying Samsung. It can load all the new apps easily. Great all round picture and sound. Very happy!
