The best tv ever
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second Samsung television and i have to say i am in complete awe with this TV. The fact that i can do just about anything with this TV is a plus factor. I didn't even know i had built in chromecast until recently!!! I can play my music from Apple Music, I can watch Hulu, Netflix and all. The sleek design and the clear picture just makes me even more happy. I couldn't ask for a more better TV then this one.
Great Hardware, Sucky Software
tv is great. the samsung smart tv needs an overhaul. it is an annoying menu thing that is half screen that was poorly designed. why you couldn't make it a full interactive os like apple tv os or a roku or whatever. you can barely see the apps you have. it disappears and is not easy to use. do what everyone else does in a market and copy who does it best, any make some tweaks. i was going to try for awhile but got very annoyed in the first 5 minutes of use that i switched right back to my apple tv.
Great picture, while it lasted.
bought one tv and within 2 days a fine pixelated line appeared down the screen. took it back, bought a new one. within a single day the top left corner started to darken and spread throughout the tv. i love samsung phones and kitchen appliances, but i don't recommend their tvs. very disappointed, but as the 5itle says, the picture was nice while it lasted

Samsung TV is superior!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] From picture quality, color, sound, and large variety of application extensions.. Samsung tv has exceeded my expectations in a smart TV. Getting a 55 was what I thought I needed but definitely plan on upgrading to a larger newer model and moving this one into my bedroom. My bedroom has a old Vizio tv that can't even load Hulu on it anymore lol.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just so so. The sound is not great and unlike other Samsung Smart TVs this one is very limiting when it comes to loading apps. The reaction time is slow. Picture is okay but better on prior models.

Bringing theatre home

Died after only 16 months
i thought that buying this samsung tv would be a wise decision, but at least for this model it was not. with a warranty covering one year, it completely died after only 16 months. i tried fixing it myself by replacing the two main internal boards, but not luck. apparently a screen issue and not worth fixing. performance while it lasted was ok but not great . my main complaint would be an odd flickering of objects colored red. in the future i may give a lesser known brand a chance.

Purchased for workout area
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased for new work out area. Specifically wanted smart and wi-fi tv. And also tv that interacted with Comcast. This tv does provide all of this. Best view is with highest settings to get best picture. Also have a 8QLED. Picture is not as crisp, however for the use of the tv and the price it provides want is needed for the use and area.
Great buy

The screen is so clear the sound is great and perfect for watching action movies too lol, it's like a theater event at home. Really worth every penny very pleased with this purchase.
Poor quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After less than two years of use, the upper right corner of the tv screen is noticeably dimmer than the rest of the tv. It seems as if a section of lighting has stopped working. Disappointed in the quality.

I recommend trying the following troubleshooting steps to ensure the problem is not with an external device. 1. Check all input cable connections if any external devices are connected. 2. If the issue persists, define precisely what is wrong with the display. For example, mosaics and blocks, multiple lines or white dots, or fixed, horizontal, or vertical lines. 3. Try changing channels using the remote control. Is the issue the same on all channels? 4. Press the Home button (looks like a house), select Source, and choose another input source. Is the issue the same on all sources? 5. If the same problem persists, run a diagnostic test. (Home > Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Picture Test) 6. If the problem disappears during the test, check your TV signal (Home > Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Signal Information) to check the signal strength.
