Great Hardware, Sucky Software

tv is great. the samsung smart tv needs an overhaul. it is an annoying menu thing that is half screen that was poorly designed. why you couldn't make it a full interactive os like apple tv os or a roku or whatever. you can barely see the apps you have. it disappears and is not easy to use. do what everyone else does in a market and copy who does it best, any make some tweaks. i was going to try for awhile but got very annoyed in the first 5 minutes of use that i switched right back to my apple tv.

Great picture, while it lasted.

bought one tv and within 2 days a fine pixelated line appeared down the screen. took it back, bought a new one. within a single day the top left corner started to darken and spread throughout the tv. i love samsung phones and kitchen appliances, but i don't recommend their tvs. very disappointed, but as the 5itle says, the picture was nice while it lasted

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just so so. The sound is not great and unlike other Samsung Smart TVs this one is very limiting when it comes to loading apps. The reaction time is slow. Picture is okay but better on prior models.

You may select from several Sound Modes and advanced settings to meet your personal preferences. Press the Home button on your remote, and then navigate to Settings > Sound > Sound Mode You can also customize the sound with Expert Settings. Home > Settings > Sound > Expert Settings. To optimize the smart TV performance, please try Device Care option under the Support Menu. This product is great.

A lot of apps that make it easier to watch your favorite shows. I can control it with my Alexa echo and the picture quality is great. The best thing about this tv is the price. Great product for a great low price.

Incredible Quality

The integration with Xbox has been great which means that i no longer have to use that controller, just the Samsung one. I can also use the TV controller to manage my Samsung home theater system which I was not expecting. Always love Samsung.

Firmware and memory upgrade

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Firmware is slow and not always functioning and internal memory is too limited):1) It looks like the internal memory to be used for apps is very limited. Without having installed many additional apps the memory was almost full already;2) The remote control and cursor movement (between apps) on the screen seem to have a certain delay which you have to get used to;3) The Apple screen mirroring function is not always available or not working properly. Sometimes need to unplug the TV and restart to get the functionality back; and4) Having difficulties connecting to Alexa voice assistant.These should all be items that could be fixed.

Great picture.

Reliable, great picture and amazing features.

This takes away from the functionality of the TV. On the flip side, the TV has really great features that allow you to seamlessly connect with the rest of your home, services, and friends.

Great pictures, terrible menu

I bought this TV because it was highly rated and a great price. To my dismay the menu and navigation of it is absolutely dreadful. I was previously using a Roku and was hoping to use the built in Samsung apps to navigate the various subscription services we view. The menu set-up is clunky doesn't really work and number of buttons required to push on the remote is unbelievably high to navigate from one app to another. Samsung says the apps menu is able to be modified but that is only partially true. I've found no way to delete the bloatware on the TV. I gave up and went back to the Roku. The Roku is not super easy to navigate but is 1,000 times better than this useless software installed on this Samsung TV.
