no cocnection with my devices

this tv is neither connecting with my samsung smartphone nor my laptop when use the smart view application or wireless display. also, i have a hard time accessing netflix. this is surprising since i have a previous generation samsung tv that works perfectly with wireless connection and netflix

I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues with your Smart View app. Please use the SmartThings app as the Smart View app is no longer supported. When downloading the SmartThings app to your phone, you may need to check the following: 1) Please make sure both devices are connected to the same local network. The phone and TV must be connected to the same network as your router to be discovered by the app. 2) Refresh the device using the SmartThings app. From the Devices tab, swipe down to refresh the device list. 3) Delete and re-add the device on the SmartThings app. I hope this helps. Fabulous tv for the price

The picture quality is excellent and the features are as well. Samsung TV Plus is one of the features we love!

Almost 4 stars

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The quality of picture is great. My only dissatisfaction is with the smart tv interface and the remote. I will likely switch to another smart tv device. The embedded apps are annoying, especially ones I will never use. Also the remote is poorly designed for my bigger fingers. Return keys and arrow keys should be more pronounced. A lighted keypad and microphone would be a nice addition.

This prediction is amazing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great quality. I love the remote. I can just hit Netflix whenever I want. I wish there's Disney + or Youtube button on the remote too. The size is perfect for our bedroom. Smart tv is amazing. I can connect my ps4 too whenever I want to play I got options from the menu to turn on the game mode. Highly recommended!

Nice TV with good qualities

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The picture on this TV is stunning right out of the box. I do have a calibration disc that I use to fine tune the settings on my TVs. I didn't have to change any settings. I was really impressed with that. The sound from the built in speakers is also really very good. The remote is very simple to use and as a bonus it is a universal remote that works my DirecTV system and my sound bar. So no more having 3 or 4 remotes laying around. This thing has almost no frame to speak of which is very sleek looking. It has all the built in apps that you need with dedicated buttons on the remote for Netflix and Amazon. It also has built in Disney+ which is awesome. There are plenty of connections for all your other equipment such as sound bars, game consoles, and DVD players and you can control them all with this TV and remote. The drawbacks I can see is I can turn television on and off with Alexa, but do nothing else.

Good picture, below average sound, terribly slow. Processor and/or software is so slow you think it's not working. Getting in and out of streaming apps, and navigating around them is painfully slow. Other than that, not bad. Once you start watching, it's fine.

Good value

easy to set up and use couple of minor nits. buttons on remote too small, will upgrade remote. 2nd is if in an app watching show and i pause and turn off tv and turn it back on later it doesn't remember where i was, have to start over. glad this is the worse of my concerns highly recommend, beautiful picture and sound. bought a sound bar and don't need it.

Not the end of the world

so i was bouncing back and forth about this tv, i can say if you are a person who doesn't notice shifts in screen as in motion blur, then cool get it the picture is good sounds not to bad. you can't cast vr to the tv which is kinda weird when a vizio can to it no problem. all things considered i would probably go with a different brand next time only because this one seems to lack the little finessing details which makes an aweome tv.

Sports are Fuzzy and Universal Remote is Wonky

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall this is a great TV for the value. However, sports (which move quickly) become a bit fuzzy and pixelated. Additionally the "universal" remote is very wonky. I use the optic input for a soundbar and it frequently loses connection and I have to turn the TV and bar off and back on to have them function.I've never been able to get the remote to pair with my Xfinity cable box and the Apple TV doesn't like it much either.

Screen good, functionality embarrassing

i've had this tv for a year now. when it's working, it is a very enjoyable experience as far as the visual quality, but the functionality is just downright terrible. i bought the soundbar that goes with the monito and it has gone from working with the hdmi to only working through bluetooth to switching between the two to not connecting until i manually do it etc etc etc. often the tv will turn on very dim and only reset to brighter if you turn it off and turn on again. it will also have trouble recognizing devices that you frequently plug into it. the lag time for the menu screens is also extremely frustrating.

This feature allows the audio signal to be sent out unprocessed to an external Soundbar or receiver connected to the TV. The external Soundbar or receiver then processes the audio, thereby eliminating the added step of processing by the TV, which adds delay. To activate this feature, go to Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > Digital Output Audio Format > set to Pass-Through If you have tried this and your issue persists, please reach out to Samsung Customer Support so that we can provide further troubleshooting.
