Overall it is a good buy
i purchased this tv about a month ago after my tv (also a samsung) died. i selected this model as the picture is crisp and vibrant. the reason i rated only 3 stars is because there is s few glitches. the first one is a frozen screen. i have to back out entirely and reselect the movie or show i was watching. the second glitch happens when i rewind. if i need to rewind close to the beginning of a show or movie, it stops rewinding and starts a different show or movie from the next suggested one. i also wish that the remote was backlit. if i watch in bed with my lights out, i have trouble seeing the keys resulting in numerous oops moments. aside from the lighted remote suggestion, i hope that the software glitches are worked out soon. if not i may need to return this one.

I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues with your TV glitching. Your TV has several self-diagnosis tools built in that can help solve problems with signal, network, picture, or sound. Go to Settings > Support> Device Care > Start Device Care You may also want to clear out your TV's temporary storage space by pressing and holding the Power button for 6 seconds until your TV turns off and back on again. Please also be sure you are running the latest firmware. You can check to see what software version your TV is using and if there is an available update through the settings on your TV. Great TV!

Smart TVs
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I want to start by saying I love my tv, I just hate that it works kind of slow. Always signing me out of apps, the volume goes up & down too fast and sometimes have to press the in button multiple times before it actually comes on.

To optimize the smart TV performance, please try Device Care option under the Support Menu. Go to Settings > Support> Device Care > Start Device Care This service checks memory and frees up unused cached memory and closes background apps. Please also be sure you are running the latest firmware. You can check to see what software version your TV is using and if there is an available update through the settings on your TV. Go to: Settings>Support>Software Update Both the current version and new version number will be displayed. The current version is what your TV is using and the new version is the latest update. New updates will be downloaded and installed on your TV. Updates usually take a few minutes; please do not turn off the TV until the update is complete. When the update is finished, the TV will restart automatically. If there aren't any new updates, select OK to exit. You may want to enable automatic updates for convenience by selecting > Auto Update. Overall great TV
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, this tv is great. I'm not a gamer, I strictly use mine for television watching and streaming. It was very easy to set up, and with the cable box and internet/wifi, it took about 20 minutes. I use mine on the stand, so I can't speak to any issues with mounting. The picture is great, and the remote is easy to use. I don't have a speaker bar, but I don't need one, because the sound is good. My only minor complaint is that I wish I had more control over adjusting the brightness. The price was really good, and I trust the Samsung brand, so, based on the choices I had for cost and size, it was an easy decision to make. I would definitely recommend this tv.
Easy to turn on and use (wife approved, LOL).
This is our 3rd Samsung TV, we are still watching our 50 inch Samsung Plasma TV everyday that we purchased in 2007. We went to the store to purchase another brand that had great reviews but we purchased this Samsung 43 inch because the picture quality was so much better than anything else in its price range. I would recommend Samsung TV's from our experience with them.

Great Picture Quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased two TVUN58TU700DFXZA 58” tvs. One for my bedroom and one to be installed over the fireplace in my billiard room. I already have an 83” Samsung in my media room so I knew picture quality would be second to none. It is. Whole playing pool we're usually watching a sports event. In Dynamic Mode the field pops off the screen. Colors are bright and accurate. I've had Samsungs for years beginning with the DLP. Quality, reliability and value are the hallmarks of Samsung televisions. The 58” TVs were an exact fit for both rooms. The audio is perfect. I stream live TV. There are plenty of HDMI connections. Everything about these TVs fit my requirements from price to performance. Samsung is and will always be my go-to source for televisions.
This is a great mid-range television
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently upgraded from my Vizio that I held on to for about 8 years. I will say that I don't regret it at all. The quality is okay..night and from where I was but not the best Samsung offers. I wish that it had more options as far as picture settings some of them look the same very some differences between them if any. The speakers are really good, but I would suggest buying a soundbar if you want more bass. Last thing is that I love that I can control the TV from my phone, helps out when the remote is misplaced.
The product does not have a great picture

Awesome price and great picture and audio.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn't plan on purchasing a tv when I did but it was necessary. I shopped around and viewed a lot of different TVs before I settled on this one. It stood out above all of the rest. It was easy to transport. Once I got it home, putting it together was a snap. All I had to do next was to link it up to my WiFi, add the specific applications that I wanted and/or use, throw some popcorn in the microwave, then sit back, relax, and watch my favorite channels/flicks. Now that I updated the living room I have two more rooms that could use a new tv. I'm pretty sure I know what I am getting...
