CRYSTAL UHD…YES!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a impulse purchase, that I was forced to sneak in to replace my older tv that was another name brand but similar specs. Had it swapped out and setup before the wife arrived home from work. Like most wives, mine doesn't pay attention to specs, features and rarely agrees that the price is worth the resolution being offered. I was sure that it would take her a while to notice as it was only a few inches from the older tv from 75” to 82” made it fit perfectly on our mantle with no real noticeable difference in the presentation. We went through our normal end of day talk, sharing things that had happened in our day and having the tv on in the background until one of our preferred program started. We get through the evening with me trying to notice if she's seeing anything different, she's asks about halfway through the last show “did you do something to the tv, it seems brighter or clearer” and I simply replied, “well I changed out some cables and adjusted some settings but didn't think you would notice” she then just went back to watching and upon going to bed, she just stared at the tv for a second or two. At this point I was sure I had almost gotten away with it, and would have time to get rid of the boxes and set the older tv up in the guest room making this a successful mission. The next morning was Saturday and the start of the weekend, we are watching a sporting event and she made another comment “This is not the same tv, you got a new tv didn't you?” I didn't die!

Antenna reception/channel choices

recently purchased the 43in. 4k, great picture! but i have antenna not cable. thinking i would get better reception than the t-rex (sony trinatron) that it replaced, to my disappointment not only does it not get better reception i can not get any local stations other than news channels & yes i have rescanned the channels many times. i lost all my favorite viewing channels. on top of that when i switch channels it takes several seconds for the stations to come in. wish i had my t-rex back:(. do ur research before u spend the $$$$ & make sure u have cable. this is not an antenna tv & the channels that come w/the tv, w/maybe a couple of exception show b/c/d rated stuff.:(

Decent

the tv is beautiful and the picture quailty is amazing. the operating system is absolute trash. its extremely slow and glitchy. im getting logged out of streaming services and accidentally double clicking things. im also having an issue gaming with this tv because i am locked at 30fps with this so called “game-mode” on. ive tried everything i know to do with no result. tv is only decent.

Very nice which needs a better remote

tv is very nice. i was surprised with the remote they included. ghis is a smart tv it should make things simpler. the remotebhas the opposite effect. full of needless bittons and not even backlit..at night it makes itnvery challenging to hit thebright input. samsung should have inclided theor smart remote imstead.

Best TV/computer monitor ever

i wanted a large computer monitor with 4k resolution minimum and found out that such monitor would cost me way way more than i wanted to spend. the price, the resolution, the picture quality, the size of the display is an all around awesoness purchase. live my new smart tv/4k monitor.

Great picture. Great price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's crazy how quickly TV tech progresses! Big Samsung fan - this is the 3rd I've bought. Picture and sound are great. Note the number of HDMI ports - this one didn't have enough for all the gadgets, but found a workaround. Great TV for the cost.

Great value, great picture!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This smart tv works great in my new apartment. I use it to stream HD content and for 4K console gaming. The picture quality is great for my needs. It's my first Samsung TV and definitely won't be my last. The only knock I have on this TV is the audio. The volume seems to fluctuate sometimes between different apps and/or channels. My guess would be that it has to due with the actual volume levels of the content I'm watching but nonetheless, the loudness can definitely be jarring at times. Also, sometimes dialogue in movies can't be heard too well so I have crank it up to hear it. Then the next action scene would have loud explosions and be too loud, causing me to turn it down. I've read online that a great sound at would solve this problem. I hope to get one soon.

Overall a fantastic TV

Would be great if all the smart features worked.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The picture on the screen itself is awesome but I really bought the tv for the smart features and the autorun feature does not work at all. I'm a cord cutter and I would just like the tv to automatically open in the last app used and the auto run feature is supposed to facilitate that; it doesn't. At all. Makes it a little bit hard to figure out how to use the tv for my 75yr old grandmother. So I'm disappointed in that aspect.But the tv itself works out well.

Great TV!!

It has only 2 HDMI ports, the fact that it works with Alexa, Google, and Apple AirPlay makes up for it! It's got Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, and YouTube integrated already too. I love how vibrant all the colors are - everything just pops! I'm super happy with this TV!!!
