Review appeared good and the sale price was great, but I've received nothing but broken units. The first was delivered with no damage to the box, but the unit packed inside was severely dented with the base broken off the heating element. Returned it and ordered another, and the 2nd was delivered with the exact same damage. Won't be ordering a 3rd after this return.

This is a really nice slow cooker. I purchased it primarily due to the easy travel features (locking lid/top & travel bag); these are really nice functions and worked well when carrying a big batch of chili for a social function. My only concern, in the very first placement of the cooker into the travel bag - the "cord keeper" plastic holder was stuck on the edge of the travel bag. Me, not knowing this, continued to push the crockpot into the bag and broke off one of the holder tips. Since I was not applying too much pressure, I am concerned that these plastic pieces break way too easy. I was going to return this unit, but since the "cord keeper" does not affect the cooker's functionality, decided to accept this defect.

I love my crockpot. I'm not Rachel Raybor Betty Crocker. But this definitely makes cooking a bit easier. I use it at least twice a week. I've had this one for about two years and it's still going strong. I would recommend this one because of the time that's an awesome plus.

I have had many crockpots over the years simply because they keep adding features I like. All of them still work. I bought this one at Sam’s and used it once and everything was fine. I went to use it again for the second time and it will not heat at all. I have never encountered this. I wanted to exchange this at Sam’s and try it again, but since the store does not carry it, and it is just out of 90 days from the date I purchased it, I can not just exchange it. Sadly, I returned it and now need to decide if I repurchase at a higher price and try it again or try a different brand.

I bought this Crock Pot along with a Boston Butt. It was my first attempt at making pulled pork. It was able to accommodate an 8 pound Boston Butt and cooked it to perfection in 8 hours on LOW. The issue is, I cooked it with BBQ sauce and onion; the lid has an overwhelming odor (mostly onion) lingering even after it was throughly washed in hot, soapy water. I’m worried it may begin to smell rancid over time…

Love this Crockpot. It is big enough for a crowd. The carrying case is so convenient for transporting the crock. The snap on lid keeps everything secure. No more spills in the car! The price at Sam's club is the best. I have been shopping for this product everywhere.

I bought this Crockpot just over a year ago. I have used it fewer than 10 times, and now it does not work. I have tried resetting it according to the manufacturer's instructions, but it still does not work. Of course, it started malfunctioning just after the one-year warranty had expired, and when I called the Crockpot company, they basically said I am out of luck. Very disappointed in what used to be a quality company. I would not recommend purchasing this item. I will be going back to the same brand I had before which lasted for over 20 years.

In just over a years time, this slow cooker has completed stopped working. Although it gets to slightly warm it does not cook at all any longer. I have always had Crock-Pot slow cookers and this was a replacement for one that finally broke after years of use, so to say that I am disappointed is an understatement. It really sucks when you are trying to cook for your co-workers and when you bring it in and set it up and are unable to serve any food. Not only did we have to order in something for our special luncheon but had to throw out all of the food that was in there. So not only am I out the Crock-Pot but I got to purchase lunch twice!

Saw one on Sam’s club website for $39.99 plus free shipping I filled out the order and it said “ out of stock “ Waited 3 weeks and then it said we now can place your order The price is now $49.99 and $4 charge just to pick it up from the warehouse

I love the size, price and functionality... BUT.... the outside (aluminum casing) gets super HOT. Seems dangerous. I certainly cannot use for entertaining, as I don't want to risk anyone getting badly burned by rubbing against it. I own other crockpots... and they all have insulation so the outside doesn't get hot...so I am wondering if this is just a bad design.... or a faulty machine. I am unable to use the case, as the outside shell would melt the case... and would burn me as I put it in the case.
