The battery charges quickly and lasts throughout the day. I check my calendar and task lists and play backgammon while listening to music. The A8 has frequent security updates and Android 13 works well with the Samsung One UI 5.1 version. The screen size and quality are good for reading news and ebooks, and it's portable for shopping lists and reminders. The A8 still has the 3.5mm audio port for an alternative to Bluetooth. The Samsung A8 tablet allows me to do common computer functions while away from the computer in a device that's larger and easier to read or write on than a phone.

The screen is the perfect size and it's easy to hold onto. The graphics are clear and the touch screen works perfectly. This is the second Galaxy tablet I've had since my dogs knocked my first one on the floor and cracked the screen. The only thing I don't like is trying to type on it because it's so wide across.

Handles every app in the app store and battery life is great. It does charge little slower then my phone but charge it while you sleep and you are good.

Love the fact that I can look at everything in either landscape or portrait mode. Not the greatest at taking pictures. Enjoy reading my Kindle books on my tablet.
