The only things I experienced issues with could have really just been a service issue. I had trouble sending and receiving text messages. It had since been resolved. It performs video playback very nicely and takes great pictures. We have several work apps we have to use and they work very good on this tablet. Overall we are very satisfied with this tablet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 is a decent choice for someone on a budget who wants a tablet to do some basic stuff like shopping, stream video, browse social media, or play some basic games. It has a nice and large HD screen and it's battery will last all day long which is hard to find in this price range. I got the lower model with 32GB of internal memory thinking I'd just install an SD card which it has a slot for unlike a lot of new devices nowadays, but I wish I would have got the one with more memory because i can't really fit a lot of apps on the device, even when moving some apps to the SD card there really isn't a lot of space after the operating system and a few pictures. This isn't a flagship tablet so you won't get a 120hz display, great multitasking, snappy and responsive app switching or be able to play a graphic demanding game but you can do other things very well.

Mines came with a pen which comes in handy for taking quick notes and the tablet is able to read what I write (regardless of how sloppy I write) and convert it into text. Sound quality is very good and images are clear. The only problem I have is I can't auto rotate my screen but otherwise this is a great tablet for school and streaming on the side.

I have found the screen to be crisp, clear, and responsive. I love the narrow bezel design and how truly lightweight the tablet is. This tablet is truly feels more portable than my phone which is much smaller. On top of all this, the tablet charges quickly and lasts a long time on a single charge. The processor is quite responsive for a number of tasks including games and other activities. And it is so nice to be able to expand the memory with an affordable microSD card. Overall, great product.

I am a technology student and use my tablet to take notes in class. One of the many things I love about my tablet is how functional it is. The design of it is lightweight and compact making it easy to carry with me to class in my bag. This, along with the software/OS, is very clean and user friendly. I have everything right at my fingertips which makes it great for studying. I have some of the features available that I have on my S20 Ultra such as messaging and phone calls. I love the fact that I can transfer my notes to my phone using the Samsung Flow app. I also like the customization features, for example, that I can organize apps all in one place such as the ones I need to do my schoolwork, this makes things so much easier! I don't have many complaints and would highly recommend it to anyone that needs a simplistic device for schoolwork or even just to browse the web. I am a faithful Samsung user and am proud to say that I will continue to buy more of your products in the future!
