I asked for advice from Midland on a two way radio that would communicate across our entire 300+ acre camp in the Great Smoky Mountains. These radios worked perfectly! Also a much lower price point than expected.

I bought Midland because I used their CBS years ago; never had any problems. These were purchased for camping, hiking, biking in remote areas. I trust the quality and dependability.

the range is stated to be 36 miles, on the moon maybe, the actual range is less than 1 mile after that it is all static. the signal is very good under 1 mile

This a second set to go with previous set. Work as expected - like a charm. Good, usable features. I’m quite satisfied. Would like to see USB charging on individual radios and a bit better quality earpieces.

I purchased these radios and they boast 20-25 mile coverage and I barely got 0.5 miles in the woods. Really not happy with these and not worth the money

I am totally new to the GMRS radio world. I purchased also the MXT400 Mobile unit for our Jeep to go with the handheld GXT1000's They work well together and look forward to years of service from them both.

My Midland hand-held radios are performing well. I use them with my MXT-275 and I get approximately 2 mile range in the city. I like the weather feature.

Good for the investment. There are some channels not available until you obtain a license, but those that are freely available, they are good. We tested in our neighborhood, but the buildings were invasive

I like the radios and they work good for us at church but the ear phones are very uncomfortable on your ear. If you offered a different style ear piece with Mike I would like to try them.

This item has been Fantastic, and it worked so much better than advertised and once it started working the whole family got involved and it turned out that they are all going to get a pair! Range was Outstanding!
