Member's Mark Scoopable Clumping Cat Litter, Fresh Clean Scent, 42 lb.

This is not good, or even acceptable cat litter. It does not clump, and when you try and scoop the litter it just breaks down into unscoopable chunks. Get the FRESH STEP cat litter, it is much better. The clumping is superior.

The worst cat litter Sam's Club sells!

The litter has excellent clumping ability, but is lacking the odor control.  I never had an issue with it before the change of packaging.  While after packaging the price jumped

Not as good as their previous litter

This litter is so dusty it filled the entire room with dust when we poured it in. It smells horrible and doesn’t clump either, so if you’re thinking about getting this litter just because it’s cheaper, please don’t.

Worst litter ever

This litter does not clump and there isn't much of a fresh scent.  Sam's changed the brand.  It used to be much finer litter and it clumped better.  I will not purchase it again.  Go back to the previous supplier!

I don't about this litter. I absolutely hated it. It made my house smell. We cleaned out the box every other day.  The smell of ammonia. I won't do it again. I would use this on the drive for oil.

This stuff is awful - VERY dusty, doesn't clump well, doesn't block odors, and isn't scented. Basically everything it claims it does, it does not do.  I'm wondering if the 5 star reviews on here are fake!

Worst litter I've tried

It works very well agglomerating, in my experience if you clean the litter box constantly there are no bad odors. It would be great if your packaging was made of thick reusable paper.

Its work

There was a limited variety of cat litter and they did not have the brand we generally buy. But we did purchase what was available and it was just as good as what we used in the past. Price was about the same.

Cat liter

Like other reviewers have said, this litter does not clump, and STINKS.  Sure it’s cheaper, but you need to replace it 2x as often. So you might as well have the piece of mind and buy the name brand stuff. Disappointed.

Not up to the MM name

I'm not even going to try it out before leaving a comment. The dust cloud was absolutely ridiculous.  No cat litter should be that bad.  The litter was poured fresh into an empty box and BOOM it took my breath away.

WOW DUST

I purchased this because the cost per ounce was lower than any other out there.
The bucket filled with 42 lbs of sand, has a frail handle that would snap into pieces if you tried to carry it by the handle, not to mention the fact that it would dig into your hand as well. The edges around the lid and under the bucket are also sharp, so there is no easy to pick the bucket up and carry it. 

There is a thick strip of plastic that has to be peeled from between the lid and the bucket. There is a ring on the plastic strip that needs to be pulled. But the ring hurts your hand, and the plastic is too thick to pull easily. I couldn't find a tool that would do the trick. I was going to pull out a box cutter to cut it open, but my husband managed to get it open. The ring on one side broke off completely, but there was also a ring on the other side that he managed to pull open. 

The next issue is trying to dump the litter into the cat box. The blue lid only folds open part way. The lid doesn't even stay open when you pick it up. It is a logistical nightmare to pour it into the litter box. Again, my husband managed to pour it for me. I am not an enfeebled person. I am quite capable of managing heavy loads and so forth. This bucket was just so poorly designed in so many ways. I am paying the extra money to get smaller parcels of litter. It is worth the difference to avoid the hassle.

Not worth the meager savings in cost.

As loving helpers of Mother Nature we have spent countless hours/dollars with the felines that fate handed to us. Purchases of Members Mark Cat Litter has been a large part of helping these furry fellows/females ! We have seen the quality of this product change from time to time. As of this moment in history we now have what we call THE BEST !!! It still comes in green containers but the quality of what is inside is  the BEST that SAMS has to offer. The reduction of dust and the increase in clumping quality makes it the BEST. Keep it up SAMS.
