Member's Mark Scoopable Clumping Cat Litter, Fresh Clean Scent, 42 lb.

Pleasant smell, but this is not a clumping litter AT ALL! Not sure why others said it clumps good and have rated it so well for any other reason than the smell, but this is not a clumping litter! The search continues...

Does not clump!!!!

Doesn't clump like the previous version and it has the whole room smelling like ammonia, yuck!! It's awful, won't buy it again unless you go back to the first formulation...evidentially if you have several cats you're noticing how bad this stuff is!

A big no go!

Clumps great no issues there but there is no odor control what so ever. Litter box is already strong smelling by day 3 with daily cleaning. I will most likely return this. I was truly hoping to like this product.

I’m a little confused at all
The great reviews, am I missing something?, scooping the wrong way maybe?… I didn’t like this cat litter at all. The clumps DO NOT STAY CLUMPS. They fall apart when trying to scoop. A no for me.

Doesn't work nearly as well as the previous type. Our cats hate it and so do we. Doesn't clump well and smells terrible.  Please go back to your previous litter.

New and improved, it isn't.

The bucket is easier to handle but It says newly improved but its not, its a poor reproduction of the previous product (available through 12/2021) This new product doesn't keep the odor down as well and it needs changing more often.

Poor reproduction; prior product was better

I've been  happy with most Member's Mark products, but not this one!! Zero odor control and it clumps, but falls apart as you scoop. I was happy to find a product for half the price, but sadly... you get what you pay for! Staying with Fresh Step!

This is probably some of the worse cat litter I've ever used , the clumps just fall apart when you're scooping, and then it definitely don't hold odor . I like most member mark products but this is on my do not buy list .

Worse litter

I bought this after reading the reviews. This is the worst cat litter ever. It doesn't clump as 
advertised it does control oder that's about the best I can say about it. I won't be buying it again

Cat litter

Very dusty does not smell as pleasant compared to the old Sams Club cat litter. We always know when our cats use the litter boxes because of all the dust their fur catches. Will not buy again.

I purchased this because the cost per ounce was lower than any other out there.
The bucket filled with 42 lbs of sand, has a frail handle that would snap into pieces if you tried to carry it by the handle, not to mention the fact that it would dig into your hand as well. The edges around the lid and under the bucket are also sharp, so there is no easy to pick the bucket up and carry it. 

There is a thick strip of plastic that has to be peeled from between the lid and the bucket. There is a ring on the plastic strip that needs to be pulled. But the ring hurts your hand, and the plastic is too thick to pull easily. I couldn't find a tool that would do the trick. I was going to pull out a box cutter to cut it open, but my husband managed to get it open. The ring on one side broke off completely, but there was also a ring on the other side that he managed to pull open. 

The next issue is trying to dump the litter into the cat box. The blue lid only folds open part way. The lid doesn't even stay open when you pick it up. It is a logistical nightmare to pour it into the litter box. Again, my husband managed to pour it for me. I am not an enfeebled person. I am quite capable of managing heavy loads and so forth. This bucket was just so poorly designed in so many ways. I am paying the extra money to get smaller parcels of litter. It is worth the difference to avoid the hassle.

Not worth the meager savings in cost.

As loving helpers of Mother Nature we have spent countless hours/dollars with the felines that fate handed to us. Purchases of Members Mark Cat Litter has been a large part of helping these furry fellows/females ! We have seen the quality of this product change from time to time. As of this moment in history we now have what we call THE BEST !!! It still comes in green containers but the quality of what is inside is  the BEST that SAMS has to offer. The reduction of dust and the increase in clumping quality makes it the BEST. Keep it up SAMS.
