I used the original version for a while but found it too dusty. So when I saw "New & Improved," I thought I'd give it another shot. The first thing I noticed was that several buckets on the pallet had their handle detached from one side, like they came apart when other shoppers tried to pick them up. I never saw that problem with the original product. It's definitely a concern because that's 42 pounds that could drop on your foot or put a huge dent in a hardwood floor. There's zero dust, so that's definitely an improvement. The biggest drawback is that urine clumps poorly. No matter how gingerly I scoop a clump, it almost always disintegrates. As a result, the entire litter box quickly gets so soiled that it needs to be completely emptied every few days. I bought two buckets. I'm returning the unopened one and going back to a name brand. Really disappointing.

Thank you Sam’s for having your cat litter back! Loving the new, low to almost no dust formula although honestly speaking, the previous formula was better at clumping and odor control. I really do miss the previous formula minus the excessive dust. Grateful, regardless!

I picked this up to try and was very disappointed! Doesn’t clump and the odor coming from litter box was horrible. Had to stop using because the whole house was stinking. Also it is very heavy! Taking to garage for oil spills, should work fine for that.

Why did I not read the reviews on this before I bought it?! I was so excited for an affordable 40 pound tub of cat litter that I forgot all about it. I usually find the Member’s Mark brand to be of great quality, but if this is the best they can do they shouldn’t have even tried. If I was a desperate cat lady with no sense of smell then maybe I’d choose this. My whole house smells like cat pee. Now I have 30 something pounds of this crap left that I’ll have to mix in with some tidy cats or something so I don’t waste it. I’d be embarrassed to invite company over. BOOOO.

This litter is absolute garbage. On the bucket, it says four things: Low Dust; Long Lasting Odor Control; Superior Clumping; Fresh Clean Scent. 3 of those 4 things are lies. Incredibly dusty when poured into the litter box, odor control might last a day, barely clumps at all, but it does smell good when you first pour the litter.

Great for multiple cats

What they discontinued their kitty litter before I was pretty disappointed. We switched to another brand I think fresh step or something and I realized how inferior the members mark brand was all along. But the price had always been so good! So when they released this new version I thought "why not!?" But it's horrible. Worse than before. Doesn't even try to clump. Never again.
