Have been buying Members Mark Scented Scoopable cat liter for a few years. I have five cats so we use quite a bit of cat litter. The last batch we bought does not clump at all. It is like coarse sand. As soon as we try to scoop it, it separates into individual grains.

My cats hate it. I got this because walmart was out of the scoop away my cats like. They hate this litter and started peeing on the carpet. I had to buy pee pads to put down while we wait for walmart to ship us some scoop away which was delayed twice. I don't know why Sam's doesn't sell scoop away when walmart does, but this member's mark litter is foul and now we have pee odor in our carpet we've spent like $60 in various products trying to deter and get rid of, because vinegar wasn't enough. And we found out BOTH cats were doing it even after thoroughly cleaning the carpet. They're peeing right outside the box because they both hate the litter. So 2/2 cats say Member's Mark litter stinks

Does not clump.

Bought this litter and within 2 days we had little flies flying around the litter box and room. I changed the litter back to old brand and flies went away. Tried this again and had flies after 2 days for the 2nd time. Not sure if this litter attracts them or the litter had fly eggs in it. I stopped using it and threw the rest in the trash. Sure enough, my trash can was full of flies the next day. Something is attracting them in this litter.

Thank you Sam’s for having your cat litter back! Loving the new, low to almost no dust formula although honestly speaking, the previous formula was better at clumping and odor control. I really do miss the previous formula minus the excessive dust. Grateful, regardless!

Everything you DON’T want in a cat litter. I tried this again, as other customer’s mentioned, it’s a new formula and terrible. The clumping is subpar at best and turns into sand not an actual clump like Tidy Cats. In the long run, I’ll use less Tidy Cats with better results so cost won’t be an issue. I was so excited when they brought this back. The previous version worked well at a great price point. Not sure what they did, but the new stuff is awful. It does not clump and does not control the smell. The price point is good, but if I have to refill more often, I might as well buy the more expensive stuff that works as advertised.

This is a poor attempt to make a similar product. My cats just keep digging, the odor is different, the texture is not the same, there is not anything in the product to keep dust limited. May have to try and find something else if Fresh Step is not going to be available.
