Customer reviews for LG 4.1 cu. ft. Top Load Washer With Agitator for2nd New Washer
I bought this washer, last month, because my old washer, finally broke down after 13 years. I am very pleased with my purchase. I love the way the machine alerts me, with the chimes, about the different cycles, it goes through. I sincerely hope it lasts as long as my other machine did.
Doesn’t spin out water
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There have been several times that after the wash, my clothes are still sopping wet. I try to use the “spin only” setting to remove the excess water and the washer keeps REFILLING with water!!!! Absolute garbage. Unpredictable, frustrating, and a waste of time and water.

Washes fine but avoid detergent PODS.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It washes clothes fast! There is a learning curve to this washer just like every other one will also have a learning curve. The heavy duty cycle is best for my husbands work clothes(blue collar) and normal cycle works best for me & my sons clothes. The pods do not work with this washer they don’t dissolve all the way. For this washer I recommend a liquid HE detergent. I don’t use powder detergent bc they clog up the washer real quick.
Great washer! Read manual, improvise & love it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this washer to replace another brand also named with "two letters". That washer gave out in only two years, so I was skeptical about buying another HE washer. I liked my washer from before, that lasted 15 years and had simple controls. A knob for load type and size, water temp and a start button! It cleaned as it should, period! I should have taken them with me when I moved! As I said, I bought this LG to replace the new but broken one of two years! Aesthetically the washer is great! The glass top really shows it off, the soft close feature is really nice too! The knobs are simple enough to use, and once you figure out how you want it to work for you, it does a great job washing clothes. It has a "bell chime" at the end of the complete cycle to let you know the clothes are done. It's super quiet, unlike the can opener grinding sound the other HE washer made! I think the trick is, at least for me, is to use the "deep wash" cycle for a normal load, this allows for what I consider to be a normal amount of water dispensed to wash appropriately. If you need to use say the "bulk load" cycle, then I would set the water to "deep fill". To me this allows enough water to be dispensed in order to cover the clothes and wash them properly. Also place/stack the clothes loosely and evenly around the agitator as it will turn and "weigh" the clothes for proper balance. You will need to use the dispensers for bleach, softner or detergent before closing the lid, because the washer won't start until the lid is closed and once the lid is closed, it locks! I like to use white vinegar in my rinse cycle to rid clothes of any residue. I have to put that in the softner dispenser and hope it ejects when it's supposed to. I've only used the washer 5 times now. I've washed towels, jeans and sheets during those times and have been happy with the results. All in all I'm pleased with this product, only time will tell if I will stay pleased! Follow the instructions, as it does seem like a lot to do just to wash clothes, but I think it is necessary to get good results. At this time I would certainly recommend this product to others, and I do apologize for the lengthy review! ;)
LG 4.0 clear top washing machine
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this washing machine a couple of months ago and am absolutly delighted with it. The inside drum is actually deeper than the old 4. cubits were. I know this because I have to reach more to get all the clothes out. It cleans so much better than I expected, using less water. And the spin cycle almost dry's my clothes so it is saving me money on the dry time in the dryer.
Hi, there. We appreciate you taking a moment to share your experience. It’s wonderful to hear how delighted you are with your LG Washer (WT6105CW) model after a couple of months of use. That deeper drum, even compared to older 4‑cu.ft. models, really does make a difference — more room for laundry, fewer loads, and yes, sometimes a little extra reach at the bottom. And it’s great to hear the washer is delivering better cleaning with less water, just as it’s designed to do. The high‑efficiency spin cycle is a real money‑saver, too. When clothes come out almost dry, it cuts down on dryer time and energy use, which is exactly the kind of everyday benefit we love hearing about. Don’t waste your money
If you enjoy spending literally hours trying to wash one load of laundry, this is perfect for you. It constantly stops and has error messages because items will shift in the tub or it won’t drain correctly. If you put it on a “spin only” cycle to try and get some of the water out of the items it will, inexplicably, fill the tub again. It has a bedding setting that can’t even handle two throw blankets at once. You will have to hand wring the water out into a bucket and try again. Completely pointless having a large capacity washer when I can’t wash more than one or two days worth of clothes at once. Not to mention the installation crew connected the hot and cold hoses backwards and didn’t connect the drainage hose at all before starting a test cycle and then leaving, which flooded my apartment.

Good enough, good for the price
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a 4/5 for a water efficient washer, but 3/5 for what I expect of a washer. All washers now seem to not put enough water imo. I always have to put it on Deep Fill to ensure all the clothes (even if it's a small load) are wet and thoroughly washed. It's quiet. Clothes come out clean (when Deep Fill is used). I would prefer that the default for water temp is Cold, rather than Warm.
Water Levels
Have had this machine for several months. As the other reviewer mentioned, there is not near enough water let into the Normal cycle to even wet the clothes let alone agitate properly. Have tried emailing but the site freezes when Submit is pressed. Was under the impression an automatic washer did not need to be babysat.

Great reliable machine
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After a while having issues with my washer I decided I needed a new one and after much research I bought this LG washer. It is really something, washes amazing, the clothes are really clean. I love it.
a little confusing
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] it's ok. still trying to get use to it. the problems i'm having are 1. no soak cycle, 2. doesn't feel that there's enough water always using deep wash, 3. delay when pressing the start button, this is causing my wife to press it again which causes to cancel why she pressed in the first place. 4. do not understand why there's 2 different places to turn on deep wash.
