Not bad. Tasty.

This is the best Corned Beef you could buy. I've bought from several different brands, from other places and not only were they much more expensive, but they we not nearly as good as this one. This one is delicious and the quality is outstanding. Very little fat. Only what is needed. The others that I have purchased that were more expensive I will NEVER buy again. They were extremely fatty and some were even dry and chewy. The cuts were wrong which made it chewy and also made it hard to slice. This one is perfect. Cut the right way. Enough fat for preserving and cooking (and flavor). Tender. Extremely tasteful. I have cooked this one several times for guests, who were always surprised and have stated they never knew corned beef was good. They loved it - So does all my boys. We even make sandwiches with it.

GROBBEL’S CORNED BEEF IS THE BEST!!! I’ve been making their CB for over 30 years because it never fails to be delicious. I boil mine and they are always moist and full of flavor. The only complaint I have is how expensive they have gotten over the years. I paid $30 for one and will be lucky to get three sandwiches out of it. That said, I’ll need to think twice about buying my next one. Might just go to the local deli for our CB fix.

I’ve had this many times before. I bought his at sams 2 days ago. It had a strange shape when I took it out of the package. It was all irregular and had a thick layer of fat running through the middle of it. I cooked this in the crockpot on high for 4 hours. however it was tough and grisly. Every other time I’ve cooked meat in the cockpit on high for four hours it has come out very tender. quality this year is inferior to prior years.

This was the worst corned beef I've ever cooked. No matter which way I sliced it it was incredibly tough! I've been making corned beef for 40+ years so I know what I'm doing. In addition to the toughness, about 1/3 of it turned out to be fat. Usually on a flat cut the only fat is what you could see on the top of thr roast. There was a lage amount of hidden fat on this roast! I don't know if Sam's has switched brands or not but, I've always been able to buy great corned beef there in addition to other great meat. No more of Goebbel's for me!!

When we finished our corn beef and cabbage dinner I had to get the packaging out of the trash so I could remember to buy this very same corned beef next time we go to Sam's. It was by far the best that we have ever had. So tender and delicious. Can't wait to fix ruebens with the left overs.

I picked up two of these this past week and cooked them today. Immediately upon opening them, I realized this was a bad purchase. Both of them were mostly fat; I understand they are briskets and typically have quite a bit of fat, but these were incredibly fatty with very little meat. So disappointed to pay for "Gourmet" and get "Garbage."

This corned beef is awesome. Nothing like what they sell in the grocery store that looks like a pork butt. This is a FLAT, I don't have to wait till March to buy it. This is sooo good. I normally buy 3 a month. This is the Best cut of Corned Beef you can buy. It has a slim layer of fat on top, for flavor & cooking, Don't forget to add the seasoning packet. It melts in your mouth, with goodness.

This is absolutely horrible. One of the only reasons I stay as a member at Sams is for the meat. The beef in general has been very disappointing and this corned beef is almost inedible! The taste is like chemicals and it’s all water. No picked taste at all. They should be ashamed to sell this as their meat has been their shining star.

I recently bought a corned beef brisket from my local Sam's. After cooking according to instructions, I let it cool so it could be sliced for sandwiches. I planned to have some of the brisket for dinner and have enough leftover for sandwiches. I had enough brisket for two sandwiches and about 4 ounces leftover - not even close to enough for dinner. The total yield out of this brisket was about one pound of cooked meat - and the rest was fat and packing liquid. I had to discard at least a pound of fat after cooking. We're not talking about a little marbling or normal fat - we are talking about huge slabs of fat that were greater than the amount of meat. I don't know what is meant by hand trimmed - but this amount of fat is completely unacceptable.
